IC4401?
Check SC2201, periphery 
of SC5301, FFC and 
periphery of IC5301.
Check IC4003, IC4001 and 
periphery of IC4004.
Is pin (5) of IC2205 3.3V?
Check IC2203, IC2201 and 
periphery of SC5301.
Are H, V and DE output from TP5301 
to TP5303?
Check the periphery of 
IC5301 and that of SC5302.
Check SC2201, periphery of 
SC5301, FFC and periphery of 
IC2203.
When switching REV DISPLAY of the 
process mode's LCD PAGE1, the 
position of the defective portion does not 
change.
The pattern is displayed every other 
line in the horizontal direction. Or, 
flicker is displayed.

output from R4726,

Either the left or right

Check between IC4301 
and SC4702 as well as 
between IC4302 and 
SC4701.
Check IC4503, IC4504 and 
periphery of IC4505.
The lower part of the 
screen is abnormal.
The screen is partially 
whitish or dark.
Either the left or right 
part is abnormal.
Check IC6601, IC6602 and 
periphery of IC6603.
Check between IC6401 
and SC6802 as well as 
between IC6402 and 
SC6801.
Is the gradation pattern displayed 
normally when setting PATTERN3 of 
PATTERN PAGE1 in the adjustment 
process menu to 21?
Check between IC4101 and IC4102, 
between IC4201 and IC4202 and 
their periphery.
Are all gradations displayed normally 
when changing PATTERN A of 
PATTERN PAGE1 in the adjustment 
process menu from 0 to 255?
Check between IC4001 and IC4101, 
between IC4004 and IC4201 and 
their periphery.
For the displays other than the test 
pattern, the left half of the screen is 
abnormal.
Check between IC4004 and 
SC4002, between IC5502 and 
SC5502 and FPC.
For the displays other than the test 
pattern, the right half of the screen is 
abnormal.
Check between IC4001 and 
SC4001, between IC5501 and 
SC5501 and FPC.
The displays other than the test pattern 
are abnormal every other line in the 
vertical direction.
Check the periphery of IC5402.
For the displays other than the test 
pattern, the whole screen is abnormal.
Check between IC5301 and IC5401 
and their periphery.

Short-circuit the capacitors connected to pins (22) of 
IC7301, 7401, 7501 and 7601 of inverter units 1-4 and 
turn on the unit.
Check the connection of each connector. (P7308, P7309, 
SC7401, P7508, P7509, SC7601)
Check the peripheral circuits of IC7302, 7402, 7502 and 
7602.
"The backlight does not come on."

When the microprocessor operates in the lamp error mode, 
the power LED flashes in red once.
Short-circuit the capacitors connected to pins (22) of 
IC7301, 7401, 7501 and 7601 of inverter units 1-4 and turn 
on the unit in the process mode.
Check the inverters which do not come on.
Check that the voltage supplied to the inverters is 15V. 
(P7307, P7409, P7507 and P7609)
Is the voltage of pins (1) (DUTY) and (16) (STB) of IC7301, 
7401, 7501 and 7601 2.5V or more?
Check that the output voltage of IC7302, 7402, 7502 and 
7602 is 5V.
Check the voltage of COMP1, COMP2, VS1-2 and IS1-2 
terminals of IC7301, 7401, 7501 and 7601.
Check the peripheral circuits of IC7301, 7401, 7501, 7601, 
7303, 7403, 7503 and 7603.
With each connector open, 
check that the voltage is 15V.
Check the output voltage of the 
peripheral circuits of Q7303, 
7309, 7313, 7317, 7323, 7327, 
7403, 7409, 7413, 7417, 7423, 
7427, 7503, 7509, 7513, 7517, 
7523, 7527, 7603, 7609, 7613, 
7617, 7623 and 7627.
Check the connection of P7301-
6, 7401-6, 7501-6 and 7601-6.
Check the periphery of the 
detection circuits of T7301-6, 
7401-6, 7501-6 and 7601-6.
Check the lamp.
Check each output voltage 
of the power supply unit.
