(6)  Select “IPL2” and then press the ENTER button.
(7)  The lamp of the projector goes to off and the projector starts the cooling. Wait

for about 60 seconds.

(8)  Disconnect the power cord.
(9)  Wait about 5 seconds, and then connect the power cord.

Note: Be sure to surely connect the AC cord. If the AC cord is disconnected
during updating, the data in the flash memory may be corrupted and the
projector may become unable to operate.

(10)  If the projector has changed to the following condition, the projector is in the

standby mode to write the firmware. If so, connect the USB cable.

Power indicator

: Green (kept on)

Other indicator

: Off (kept off)

Fan

: Stop

(11)  If the projector does not change to the above status, take the steps again

from the previous step 3-1(2).

3-2.  Writing the firmware - In case of ”AA” Version

Please refer to 3-1(3) for Version code.

(1) Start the Tera Term Pro from Windows “Start” button.

If the “Tera Term:Error” dialog box appear, click ”OK” and then proceed in the
next step.

(2) From the menu, select the “Set-up” and then “Serial port”.

And change “Port” to COM Port number you wrote down in the previous step (2-
4(6)).

(3)  Type only ENTER Key and check the following screen.

The Tera Term Pro shows the “ERR”.

If “ERR” does not appear, check USB cable and COM port number in the
previous step (3-2(2)).
Or disconnect the USB cable, and then restart PC, and then connect the USB
cable, and take the steps again from the previous step 3-2(1).

(4)  Type “START” and ENTER Key and check the following screen.

The Tera Term Pro shows the “OK”.

(5)  From the menu, select the “File”, and then “Send File”.

(6)  Select “loader_m20x.bwh” and open the file.

NOTE:
If “Binary” check box is check off, check on “Binary” check box.

(7) The Tera Term sends file “loader_m20x.bwh”. (approx. 60,000 Bytes

transferred)
It takes a few minutes to transfer data.
