This chapter describes additions and corrections to Printing.
The following features are now available for the Fiery Server:
• Job Properties Job Tracking configures the printer driver to record accounting information
included in the print job. The assigned account code is associated with a specific
department or client project and provides accurate printing costs that can be allocated
back to the internal department or a client project. After you click Print in the Print dialog
box, the account code can be entered.

Job tracking is available in the Windows and Mac OS printer drivers and virtual printers.
• The Sort mode print option Sort and Group settings were renamed to Sort without shift

When you upgrade the Fiery Server software to version 1.1 from version 1.0, you must
uninstall the previous version of the printer driver before you install the new printer driver

Installing printer drivers from the User Software DVD
The User Software DVD provides the software for Mac OS computers, such as the printer
drivers.

1 Quit all open applications.
2 Insert the User Software DVD into the DVD drive.
3 Open the Mac_User_SW folder.
4 Double-click Fiery Printer Driver.dmg.
5 Double-click Fiery Printer Driver.pkg and click Continue.
6 Read the license and click Agree.
7 Follow the on-screen instructions.
The Fiery Printer Driver Installer installs the printer driver files that correspond to the Fiery
Server.

WebTools allow you to download printer driver installers to your computer directly from the
Fiery Server, if your administrator has configured access to WebTools. For more information
about setting up and starting WebTools, see Utilities.

1 Start your Internet or intranet browser and type the DNS name or IP address of the Fiery
Server.
2 Click the Downloads tab.
3 Click the Printer Files link for Mac OS X.
A file named Fiery Printer Driver.dmg is downloaded to your desktop.
