9. Re-attach the upper cabinet front left to the main body and attach the IC card label (as shown):-
10. Turn ON the power of the main unit.
IC Card Reader Device Registration:
a. Enter the card reader setting menu as shown below.

b. Press [Read] button.
c. Disconnect the connector which links the machine and the IC card reader, and then insert it back.
d. Press [OK] button.
e. Check to confirm that values are displayed on Product ID and Vender ID.
f. Press [SUBMIT] button, and check to confirm that the success dialog message is displayed.
IC Card Setting for Internal User Control:
a. Enter the card reader setting menu as shown below.

b. Check Use IC Card for Authentication.
c. Press [Submit] button.
IC Card Recognition Check:
There are two check methods of IC card recognition - use either one to check that the IC card reader has
been recognized.

Check to confirm that Card Reader/Writer is displayed.

For the MX-3060N – MX-6070N series, two connection methods are available for Wireless LAN:-
Infrastructure Mode:
Infrastructure mode allows for wireless communication between two client devices via a host (access point).
The MFP connects to an access point to obtain an IP address.

Access Point Mode:
Access Point (Ad-Hoc) mode allows for direct wireless communication between two client devices. Wireless
devices acquire an IP address from the MFP directly, allowing Print/Scan features to be available from mobile
devices.
Simultaneous usage of Access Point mode and wired connection is allowed however, mobile devices will not
be able to connect to the intranet/internet when connected to the MFP Wireless LAN.

Configuring Wireless LAN:
Before configuring the MFP device onto a customer network (using Infrastructure Mode), the following
information from the customer’s network will be required:-

Level of Encryption (if necessary) [AES or TKIP].

Procedure:
Wireless LAN can be configured via the MFP Operation Panel and MFP Web Page. The following example
