B. Packed items check
(1) Paper pass unit
(2) Finisher
The punch position labels (No.13 and No.14) should be kept at
hand since they will be necessary when installing the punch unit.
2.  Installation
Check to confirm that the firmware version is later than below. 
If the version is older, upgrade the firmware.
Firmware version: 01.07.02.00
Before installation, be sure to turn both the operation and main
power switches off and disconnect the power plug from the power
outlet. Make double sure that the data lamp on the operation panel
does not light up or blink when performing installation.
A. Paper pass unit installation
(1) Paper holding arm removal
1)
Remove the paper holding arm.
The paper holding arm must be removed together with the
paper holding arm holder. Since the paper holding arm is easy
to remove alone, be careful not to leave the paper holding arm
holder unremoved.
(2) Paper exit tray removal
1)
Open the front cabinet, and remove the front cabinet upper.

Remove the paper exit tray cover.
3)
Remove the paper exit tray.
(3) Paper pass unit attachment
1)
Remove the paper exit full detection actuator, and attach the
reverse detection actuator.
Be careful of the installing direction of the reverse detection
actuator.
2)
Attach the paper exit guide sheet to the paper exit unit.
3)
Attach the right cover plate.
4)
Hold the rib of the paper exit shifter with the fixing guide, and
fix it with the fixing screw B (M4 x 10).
5)
Attach the left cabinet and fix it with the fixing screw A (M4 x 7).
6)
Attach the front cabinet upper, and fix with the fixing screw C
(M4 x 12).

7)
Insert the reverse tray along the groove in the left cabinet and
the top surface of the right cover plate.
When inserting the reverse tray, check to insure that the switch
guide of the reverse tray is up.
8)
Fix the reverse tray with the resin clip.
9)
Insert the paper pass unit along the guide rail.
Fix the disconnection preventing lever with the fixing screw D
(M3 x 8).
B. Finisher installation
(1) Operation manual storage cover replacement
1)
Remove the operation manual storage cover on the left side of
the machine.
2)
Attach the operation manual storage cover (which was
removed from the machine) to the saddle finisher.
(2) Paper exit tray attachment
1)
Attach the paper exit tray on the saddle finisher, and fix it with
the fixing screw A.

2)
Fix the paper holding A with fixing screw A.
3)
Attach the saddle tray and paper holding B.
(3) Staple cartridge attachment
1)
Insert the staple cartridge.
(4) Height adjustment of the saddle finisher
1)
Put the saddle finisher closer to the main unit, and check to
insure that the guide pin is smoothly inserted into the connec-
tion hole.
If the guide pin is not inserted smoothly, perform the following
adjustment.
a. When the guide pin is not fit with the connection hole in the
saddle finisher:
1)
Loosen the fixing screw of the adjustment section on the rear
side. Adjust the height adjustment screw so that the guide pin
is fit with the connection hole in the saddle finisher.
By making space between the main body and ground, the
adjustment screw can be turned by the finger.
2)
Remove the front under cover and foot cover.
