• Place the meat in a flan dish on the turntable.
• Turn over when the oven indicates.
• Stand, wrapped in foil, for 45-60 minutes until thoroughly defrosted.
• Place the meat in a flan dish on the turntable.

• Place in a single layer (where possible) in a large flan dish.
• Turn over/rearrange as the oven indicates. Separate food as it defrosts.
• After defrosting, stand wrapped in foil, for 15-30 minutes until thoroughly
defrosted.
• Place minced meat in a bowl on the turntable.
• When audible signal sounds turn over and remove any defrosted parts.
• Stand for 5-10 minutes after defrosting if required.
• Arrange on turntable
• Turn over/rearrange as the oven indicates and remove any defrosted slices.
• Stand until throughly defrosted before using.

AUTO COOK NOTES
All menus use Microwave with Convection or Grill during the cooking programme to provide a brown, crisp
traditional looking and tasting result.
If you wish to cook foods or weights of food not included in the AUTO COOK function, please refer to the
cooking charts in the Cookery Book.
When using AUTO COOK  for cakes, use only the utensils recommended in the Cookery Book.  Do not
use metal cooking utensils.  Please refer to the Cookery Book for the suitable recipes.

AUTO DEFROST NOTES
If necessary, small pieces of aluminium foil can be used to shield small areas of meat if they become warm
during defrosting.  Ensure foil does not touch oven walls.
Do not cook meat until thoroughly defrosted.
If you wish to defrost foods or weights of food not included in the AUTO DEFROST facility please refer to
the defrost chart in the SHARP Cookery Book.

OTHER CONVENIENT FUNCTIONS
AUTO MINUTE enables you:
• To cook directly on 100% (HIGH) microwave power in multiples of 1 minute, 
• To extend cooking time in multiples of 1 minute.
This facility enables continued and uninterrupted operation of up to four different sequences:
• To programme a series of sequences: input 
the cooking time followed by the desired
cooking mode.
• Repeat this procedure to a maximum of four
sequences.
• Finally, press the START/AUTO MINUTE key
to start sequence cooking.

To cook on 100% (HIGH) for 2 minutes.

key. Alternatively, if you prefer vegetables softer or beef well done, use the MORE

The INFO key provides a step-by-
step interactive guide which
illuminates the display. 
When you plug the oven in, the auto setting for
the interactive display is ON.
This will assist you to determine:
• The next action on the way to completing any
programme (manual or automatic). 
• Weight ranges for automatic programmes
• Action required during or after cooking, 
eg when to stir or turn food, whether to leave
the food to stand at the end of cooking.
EXAMPLE
To check the information for Roast Pork in the AUTO COOK function. 
1. Press the INFO key once.
Info will appear in the
display.
2. Press the AUTO COOK
key twice to select Roast
Pork.

The message will be repeated twice, and then the
display will show the time of day, if set. If you want
to cancel the guide, press the STOP/CLEAR key.
There are two options when you use the INFO key:

Guide of Keys allows you to press a key to display information about it.  The information will be 
displayed twice.
2
)
Guide on/off allows you to turn the guide on or off.
EXAMPLE:  To set the guide off.
