It is now possible on the End of Day Department report to show the 
following breakdown of Paid and non-paid tables. 
 
 
The following sections are now shown on the End of Day Department 
report if the following S2001.ini file setting is added to the master machine 
DEPTREPORTOP=1 
 
A)      Traditional, as now (i.e. all cashed off transactions during day) 
 
B)      All Open transactions at EOD (including old ones) 
 
C)      New Open Transaction during day (i.e. added during day) 
 
D)      Paid off (or voided) earlier Open Transactions (this is negative) 
 
E) 

Total Sold Today. This is (A) + (C) + (D) 

 

Feature Added 
 
It is now possible if using the Standard or Realtime loyalty settings to 
create different loyalty schemes that will perform the following. 
 
  Apply an Item Promotion 
  Apply a Sub total promotion 
  Set a Price band

It is now possible to show O-P information on the End Of Day 
 
If the following setting ORDERNOTPAID=1 is added to the S2001.ini file 
on the Master machine the End Of Day will show a new section “Open 
Orders” this contains 
 
Order not paid (total of any open table amounts at time of EOD) 
Previous now paid (total of paid off previous open tables since last EOD)

The total line in the open table / Open account table report has been

Feature Added – using Fidelities Instant loyalty and Venta Pro’s Realtime 
Loyalty is now possible to show the Loyalty card details and image of the

If they take a consolidated cash report during trading  
(T-Report/Cash/All Tills) the serial number for End Of Day House Cash 
report was being incremented. Fixed 

 

 

When using Cash Declaration the first payment method on the second 
page was not usable. Now fixed. 

 

 

“Send don't send error” on slave when shutting down is fixed 

 

 

CSV Import with plu type set to SYSTEM (the system should be set to 6 
within the CSV file this will show as 90 once imported in VPM) 

 

 

When using the CUSTNAMES feature (names to tables) and Venta +. If 
the table was opened on the UP-X200 then laid away, when viewed at the 
UP-X500 this table displayed the previous customer’s name. Fixed  

 

 

When applying an “Item Promotion” using the loyalty feature the product 
setting  “discountable” was being ignored. Fixed

EOD Server Sales report now ignores servers that have not been used. 
Allowing the EOD Server sales report to be produced faster. 

 

When cancelling an Authorisation Level request box and then selecting 
Print Bill, Under certain circumstances the Venta Print spooling 
mechanism locked up. Now fixed. 

 

When using Server Staydown & Realtime loyalty the previous transaction 
loyalty details are brought up onto the screen when paying using Loyalty. 
Now fixed. 

 

Pre-order drinks PREORDERAUTO=0 was ineffective for order on other 
till. Now fixed

Feature Added – Change on screen delay after finalisation 
 
The following setting can now be added to the S2001.ini file on each till to 
vary the length that the “Change” is displayed on the screen after 
finalisation.

Non cashrsp spool files will be deleted for the c:\vapp\spool\tillxxx\cashrsp 
folder. 

If the Cashrsp destination folder is not available, two cashrsp error 
messages appear, the first message states "Till 1:cashrsp Tran export 
error" and the second states "Till1:Cashrsp Printer OK" even though the 
destination path is not available. Now fixed 

When using Ocius for Pc’s the receipt1 & receipt2.txt files where sent to 
the c:\vapp\data\ociusrcpt folder the files continuously printed. Now fixed 

If multiple Ocius for Pc’s logon records exist when Venta Pro starts up on 
the slave machine, an application error was reported. Now fixed

Feature Added – Oius For PC Printing Support. 
 
If using Commidea Ocius For PC Venta Pro will now print the receipt1 and 
receipt2.txt files to an Epson TM-T88 printer. By default, these files should be 
dropped into C:\Vapp\Data\OciusRcpt.  
This can be overridden with the setting 
OCIUSRECEIPTFOLDER=foldername 

 

Feature Added – Commidea Ocius For PC (Logon Record) 
 
You can now create a logon record to automatically logon to Commidea Ocius 
For PC Logon record format with the following S2001.ini setting. 
OCIUSFORPCLOGON=L,1234,1234,0017,01FF

Feature Added - Zero priced real-time Loyalty response file. 
 
It is now possible to produce a Loyxxx.log response when a zero priced loyalty 
transaction is performed. To enable this insert the following line into the S2001.ini 
file on each till. 
 
LOYLOGONZERO=1 

 

Feature Added – Barcode details in the cashrsp 
 
VPM5 - External Interfaces/cashrsp can now be set to cashrsp version  
to 6, this will show the barcode that is linked to the PLU that is sold. This appears 
at the end of the $item and $Disc lines within the cashrsp file. 
 
The barcodes are left 0 padded to 13 digits (although all the barcodes  
supplied have 13 digits anyway). 
If a PLU has no barcode this last field will be omitted. 

 

Feature Added – End Of Day Plu by Department report selectable from within 
VPM – Configure – System Configuration – Reports 1 & 2 

 

This will include promos (normal and voids) in item logging 

 

After voiding a promotion i.e. service charge or Discount and then posting to 
room using Innsite/Fidelio the discount amount was still sent. Fixed 

 

When refunding an item that is linked to a qualifier/linked list the qualifier/linked 

list item was printed in the kitchen. No longer prints. 

 

TM-295 and TMT 70 now added to Printer.def file 

 

TM-295 Slip printer control now fixed 

 

When using Venta+ and a PMS system, The cash Posting files where not being 
generated for transactions finalised on the Handheld. Now Fixed.  NOTE you 
can’t post to room from Venta +. 

 

The scanner is not being disabled when performing none sales functions Ie in the 
Subtotal screen. Now fixed. 
 

 

Within Batch Entry - Products - if you select copy selected row ie product 10 then 
set the range to be 110 to 110 step by 10 then select finish then OK you get the 
following error message. Run Time error "94"

  

Invalid use of Null. Now fixed. 

 

Issue importing the Dept.csv files. Now fixed 

 

When adding a new promotion the promotion text is not displayed on the  
Screen until a restart of the application is performed, This will now update when 
the server signs off and on. 

 

When placing CSV files in the c:\Vapp\Commsin\Now folder to update the tills the 
Slave machines where not receiving the new updates. Now fixed

Feature Added – KP Bitmap Images 
 
Image files (BMP,JPG’s) can now be associated with individual products for 
printing on kitchen printers. 

 

 

When performing a close session on the Master an open table on a slave 
machine will be reported.  

 

 

Term was printed on the Receipt instead of the Date. Now fixed 

 

 

If using a Back office system that produces the Dos Based files (*.lst, Srvr.dat) 
for update the Till, (ie Fidelity). The slave machine is not updated and can lock 
up. Now Fixed 

 

 

When posting to Room using the Innsite / Ramesys link and you are presented 
with the box (Select account).  If a box that does contain a name is selected 
Venta Pro will lock up. Now Fixed 

 

 

Paid Out number 8 now appears on the Cash Declaration report at Close 
Session

Feature Added – Sell one more / Sell one less 
 
2 new functions have been introduced: ‘sell one more’ (104) and ‘sell one less’ 
(105). These functions increase or decrease the quantity of the last line in the 
receipt window by one.
