9. Select Install to start the install process

10. VPM will now install and the progress will be seen via the status bar.
11. Select ‘Finish’ after the installation is complete

4. To start the VPM application, Select Start – All Programs – VPM – VPM icon.
5. When prompted with the logon box select OK.
6. When VPM has loaded select – Database – Connect to Server.
7. Enter the Server Name. Node001 where 001 is the machine node number.
8. When prompted with the logon box select OK.
9. If the Logon is successful the Node number that you entered will be shown within the
MRU as shown in the above right picture.
Note: The Server Name. Refers to the Live database, Normally the Master Machine ie
Node001.
