Assembly & disassembly the LCD CDP

To assemble the LCD CDP follow these steps:

Tighten four screws to install the LCD CDP

Remove the LCD CDP from X750.

In case a VESA stand shall be mounted instead of the standard stand, proper heat
absorption from the main board must be ensured. Failure to have proper heat
dissipation may result in unit overheating and possible system shutdown. Because the
mounting plate of the VESA stand could be the wrong shape, there may not be
sufficient contact to the heat sink of the main board. Therefore it is absolutely necessary
to mount the VESA stand over the LCD bracket, but NOT directly to the main unit. The
LCD bracket can be removed from the standard stand by removal of 4 screws, then
remounted to the unit. Please see below picture.

The screw length depends on the thickness of the VESA stand plate combined with the
LCD bracket. Insure that the end of the screw which will be turned into the main unit is
not longer than 7mm. (NOTE: black screws should be used instead of silver ones. This is
only an example for visibility.)

Due to the fanless design of the RZ-X750, it is important to have the LCD bracket properly
mounted to the main unit. In this design the heat sink at the LCD bracket touches the heat
sink of the main board and the LCD bracket is used for heat dissipation. Please see below
picture which shows the LCD bracket disassembled from the main unit:
