It should be noted that SSP’s that are supplied for the stand-
ard machine will not work with the EFT EPROM’s. They
should NOT be installed as major problems may result.

In view of this all SSP’s that have been supplied to date are
contained within these EPROM’s, they are :-

1.  Cancellation of a Transaction - (Before card is entered)

Note 1 :-

If a transaction is not manually cancelled on the EFT terminal,  then the 
terminal will bleep at 15 second intervals  for upto a period of 1 minute ; after 
which time the  transaction will be automatically cancelled .

Note 2:-

If a transaction has not been cancelled on the ECR prior to cancellation on the  
EFT terminal,  then the ECR will display  " GEN. EFT ERR " .  Press the  "CL" 
key on the ECR to continue.

Note 3:-

If a transaction is cancelled on the ECR whilst the  EFT terminal is 

still 

processing the transaction,  then any attempt to re-finalise the transaction to 
the EFT terminal  results in  " EFT COMS ERR " at the ECR.  The transaction 
should be cancelled on both ECR & EFT  terminal.

1.1 :-  Cancelling on ECR before  EFT

ECR Displays  " EFT SALE " 

Press " CL " on  ECR

ECR Displays " OP CANCELLED "

( bleep sounds )

Continue Transaction from

EFT Displays  " WIPE CARD "

Press " CAN/CLR "  on  EFT
