FUNCTIONS
• The number of titles or tracks you can input depends on that of the titles or tracks
recorded on a disc you play.
• The Direct title skip function does not operate on discs on which no titles are
recorded.
• The Direct track skip function does not operate during PBC playback of a VIDEO
CD. Use the function while disc playback is stopped.

Direct chapter skip
Use the following procedure to perform the Direct chapter skip.

Direct time skip
Use the following procedure to perform the Direct time skip.

Press FUNCTION during playback.

Subtitle language setting
Use the following procedure to perform the Subtitle language setting.

Press FUNCTION during playback.
• The Function control screen appears.

language you want to use.
• You can set the subtitle setting to “OFF”.
• You can also toggle the setting between

multiple languages.
• Some DVD discs are marked “Forced Display”, indicating that the subtitling
cannot be suppressed. With such discs, the subtitles will be displayed even
