 1. Confirmation of deflection setting, if not in spec, touch up as below :-

(Service 3)
A) For 60 Hz (4:3 only) :
 a. Adjustment of 60 Hz V-CENTER

 a. Receive the monoscope pattern (US13).
 b. Adjust V-POS 60 Hz offset so that centre of monoscope pattern is at CRT centre.

 b. Adjustment 60 Hz V-AMP

 a. Receive the monoscope pattern (US13).
 b. Adjust V-AMP 60 Hz offset so that

C, D (Fig. 3) is 2.0 ± 0.1
A, B (Fig. 3) is 2.0 ± 0.1

 c. Adjustment of 60 Hz H-CENTER

 a. Receive the monoscope pattern (US13).
 b. Adjust H-POS 60 Hz offset so that horizontal position is at centre of CRT.

 d. Adjustment of 60 Hz H-AMP

 a. Receive the monoscope pattern (US13).
 b. Adjust H-AMP 60 Hz offset so that both edges are within 2.5 ± 0.2. Refer to Fig. 1.
 c. Touch up if necessary.

 e. EW ADJUSTMENT

 a. Receive crosshatch pattern. (JA7)
 b. Adjust the vertical line no. 2 to straight line (parabola) by EW-AMP1 60 Hz offset. (Fig. 3)
 c. Touch up if necessary.

B) For other Deflection touch up 50 & 60 Hz ; 4:3 & 16:9

 1. Adjustment of V-Sym

 a. Adjust V-SYM so that a=b in Fig. 1

 a. Adjust V-LIN a=b=c=d in Fig. 2.

 3. Adjustment of TRAPEZOID

 a. Adjust the vertical line to straight line of both sides of vertical lines (trapezoid) in Fig. 3 by TRAPEZ 1.

 4. Adjustment of UPPER CORNER AND LOWER CORNER

 a. Adjust the EW at corner in Fig. 4 by UPPER-CORNER and LOW-CORNER.

 5. Adjustment of ANGLE

 a. Adjust ANGLE so that the vertical line is orthogonal to the horizontal line (Fig. 5).
