This device has 16 slots to connect input and output interface boards, with the following slot restrictions.

・

Slot1 and Slot2 are only for input interface boards. Output interface boards cannot be installed.

・

Slot15 and Slot16 are only for output interface boards. Input interface boards cannot be installed.

・

Install input interface boards in ascending order starting at Slot1 without leaving any slots empty. 
To use the device, you will need to attach at least one input interface board to Slot1.

・

Install output interface boards in descending order starting at Slot16 without leaving any slots empty.
To use the device, you will need to attach at least one output interface board to Slot16.

・

An empty slot can only be set to remaining slots between an attached slot on an input interface board and
an attached slot on an output interface board.

・

Make sure to attach a slot cover to empty slots.

Notes at the time of interface board install and removal. 

・

Make sure to turn off the power before installing or removing the interface board or POWER SUPPLY.

・

Do not touch the connecting part of the POWER SUPPLY and interface board directly.

・

To prevent damage by static electricity, touch a metal object nearby to remove electrostatic charge on your body 
before you begin.

・

Be careful to avoid injury when installing or removing interface board.
If touched by mistake, empty slot openings on the device and edges of the interface board brackets may cause
injury to the hand.

・

Install the optional interface board or the POWER SUPPLY to the device by slowly and securely inserting it
 horizontally into the connector.

1. Control computer : It is used for the writing of firmware, and transmission of a command.

(It is necessary to install control software in advance. Installation instructions, please refer to the operating instructions.)

2. Communication cable : 1) USB cable (USB type B connector - PC)
                                          2) RS-232C Streight cable (RS232 terminal - PC)
3. Firmware : Please download from the Projector service Web.

・

If firmware update is performed, the Multi Window Processor all system settings will be initialized.

・

When not changing a settings of the Multi Window Processor, setting information is saved to internal SD memory,
before update and it restores after update.

1. Connect the Multi Window Processor to the control computer using a RS-232C cable.

2. Turn on the power of Multi Window Processor. (Power indicator will light in green.)
3. After login in the control software, click the [Backup To SD Card] button.

* System settings will be saved in the SD memory card of CPU board.

4. Please confirm the communication log of [Comm Data] page.
    When save is completed, please reboot the power supply of a Multi Window Processor.

1. Turn on the power of Multi Window Processor. (Power indicator will light in green.)
2. Connect the Multi Window Processor to the control computer using a USB cable.

3. Removable Disk "MWP100" will appear in My Computer on the PC.
    Click the removable disk "MWP100" and open.

4. Please copy a version upgrade file(Mxxx_yyy.dat/PLSBOOT) to the route of a removal disk. (overwrite) 

5. Please right-click on the icon of a removable disc after the completion of a copy, and perform removal of connection. 
    After that, please disconnect the USB cable.

6. Connect the Multi Window Processor to the control computer using a RS-232C cable.

Where a USB cable is connected, communication by RS-232C can not be performed.

7. After login in the control software, click the [CommData] tab, and type the update command on the command line.

* Update command :  [ Coriomax.software_update() ] 

    Then, the [Send] button is clicked.

8. After sending the update command, power indicator on the front will change from green to red after about 5 minutes, 
    the update starts.

* The time required of update is about 1 hour. 

・

After sending the command, please do not turn off the power switch absolutely.

・

After about 5 minutes, when the power indicator does not change, please log off a control software,
reboot the power supply, and redo from step 1.

・

After sending the update command, a dialogue(!Timeout Coriomax.software_update()/Failed to execute all commands)
is displayed in the log screen, but no problem for the operation of the update.

9. Exit the control software, When confirmed the  "response after the start of the update" message in [CommData] screen.
