General Block Diagram
MAIN Board
SOC (IC300)
This custom IC is used for general MFP operations.
ROM (IC402)
This FLASH ROM contains all of the program instructions on the unit operations.
And support the backup of user setting and FAX receive data.
Synchronous Dynamic RAM (IC400/IC401) (KX-MB21*7 : 128MB, Others: 64MB)
SDRAM is used for CPU work and receiving memory and page memory.
POWER SUPPLY
DC-DC converters generate 3.3V and 1.2V for system power.
Regulator generates 5V for system power.
Regulator generates 2.5V for IC500 power (KX-MB21*7  ONLY).
TEL/FAX I/F
Composed of ITS circuit and NCU circuit.
Analog DAA (Direct Access Arrangement) and two AFE (Analog Front End) ICs control Telephone line,
Speaker and Handset.
ASIC(SPT,IC500) (KX-MB21*7 ONLY)
This custom IC is used for laser control. 
Wireless LAN module(IC850) (KX-MB217* ONLY)
Apply to IEEE802.11b/g/n.
READ Section
CIS Unit to read transmitted documents.
Scan data is converted by AFE(IC503).
Motor
This model has 1 DC motor and 2 stepping motors.
IC300 drives the DC motor for printing. 
IC600 drives the stepping motor for CIS carriage.
IC700 drives the stepping motor for Auto Document Feeder motor.
LSU
Forms the images on the OPC DRUM by rotating polygon motor and reflecting the laser beam against polygon.
Sensors
This model has 7 sensors, and has 1 switch (with Handset model only).
Low Voltage Power Supply Board (SMPS Board)
Supplies +24V and +12V to the Main unit and controls the Heat Lamp.
High Voltage Power Supply Board (HVPS Board)
Supplies bias need for the printing operation: bias of the DRUM, Developing and Transcription.
Fuser Unit
Composed heat lamp, thermistor and thermostats.
FAN MOTOR
FAN motor cool down Fuse Unit.
Solenoid
This model has 2 solenoids and 2 clutches for printing.
