Each KX-TVM204 adds 4 ports to the VPS which can be used for DPT Integration. KX-TVM204 cards can be installed in slots 1
to 6 of the VPS.

1. Position the card so that the jacks fit in the open slot. Make sure that the tabs on both sides of the card fit into place. Holding
the card firmly in place, lower the other end of the card so that the card’s hole fits over the extension bolt.

When installing optional cards, do not put pressure on the main board. Doing so may result in damage to the VPS.

2.Insert the extension bolts (included with the card) into the holes on the card, and tighten them to secure the card.

When installing a card in Slot 5 or 6, secure the cars using the screws included with the card, instead of the extension bolts.

The 4-port digital interface card is equipped with DSP for voice data processing and ECO (dedicated ASIC) to build the DPT
interface, and it provides an interface with the PBX and processes voice signals. The installation of one 4-port digital interface
card makes it possible to simultaneously process voice signals at four ports.

The DSP has functions to compress and decompress voice data of voice mail units, generates and receives DTMF tones,
detects AGC, VOX and CPT, and controls the volume and playback speeds, etc. The number of installed channels is two per
DSP. Up to 12 DSPs (24 channels) at the maximum are controlled by the host CPU and iVDC (ASIC).
