Note:
• nHALT signal is consistent with the existing PBX and performs polling by I/O port.
However, when the SH7020 goes to Sleep Mode at HALT, the SH7020 is enabled for interruption on release nHALT and return
from Sleep Mode.
• The nIRQ[0] interrupt of eSAMSON is set to output and the interrupt output is to the SH7020 (Mainly, DPRAM communication
interrupts).
• The nIRQ[1] interrupt of eSAMSON is masked. (Not used)

LINE INTERFACE OUTLINE
Change from the Original Service Manual Section 7.2.1.
The reference point of the line interface on the BRI14/PRI18 cards is Point S/T (Dose not support U point). and supports Exter-
nal call mode and internal call  mode as operating mode.
During External call mode, the power is supplied from PBX, not from DSU. During internal call mode, PSB21150 (Infineon) is
installed as ISDN basic interface  IC for RI14/PRI18. Refer to figure 1.1  "Line Interface Block" for connection diagram of basic
interface. 
For mode detailed specifications, refer to PSB21150 data sheet.

1.10. LOCAL HIGHWAY INTERFACE FUNCTION

This card utilizes an 2.048 Mbps local highway and local TSW for the purpose of switching the communications channel (B ch.)
detected from the ISDN main interface by the PSB21150, with the CT bus interface. (eSAMSON internal module)
Figure 2.8 illustrates the B ch. Highway assign and eSAMSON/PSB21150 input/output timing. Refer to the eSAMSON specifica-
tions and PSB21150 databook.

1.11. RESET OPERATION
Change from the Original Service Manual Section 7.5.1.
Reset commands to this cards LPR (and devices under control by LPR) normally be accepted unless issued by hardware reset
or software command reset from the MPR routed through the eSAMSON.
This card's internal power reset circuit is for resetting the eSAMSON during power on and live wire connection/disconnection.
However, the LPR can be reset without the MPR for the purpose of debugging and evaluating this card using the following jump-
ers:
