5.2.5.
Bell Signal Detection
During on-hook period, transmitting the bell signal to the AC loop in the CR series circuits detects the current by Photo Coupler, and
it determines the presence of  a bell signal.
CPU board software performs the operation for recognition and determination of a pattern of bell signals.
Bell loop path:
1.  Ring
 L100  R103  PC100  C104  R108  L100  Tip
2. Tip
 L100  R108  C104  PC101 R103  L100  Ring
5.2.6.
End-Call Signal Detection
End call is detected by the photo coupler at part of making DC loop. PC100 (PC101) 4-pin is High level during a call.
On the other hand, at end-call, PC100(PC101) 4-pin changes from High to Low level.
PC100(PC101) 4-pin (BELLDET/REVDET) is connected to DSP (IC101), and CPU will monitor this signal via DSP (IC101) and
detects end call.

5.2.7.
Polarity Reversal Detection
Configured by the photo couplers (PC100/101) that enable to detect each current in Tip
 Ring, Ring  Tip direction. PC101 is
used in common as the bell detection photo coupler. Using software, it stores the current direction (the detected photo coupler) at
acquiring ilne and recognizes the action by changing of the current direction (the detected photo coupler changes).
When the current flows in the direction of Ring to Tip, PC100 4-pin (BELLDET) is Low and PC101 4-pin (REVDET) is High.
1. Ring
 L100  R103  PC100  D104  Q100(C-E)  R112  D104  RL101  L100  Tip
When the current direction (polarity) is reversed from Tip to Ring, PC100 4-pin (BELLDET) is High and PC101 4-pin (REVDET)
turns to Low level. It recognizes the action by changing of the current direction (the detected photo cpupler changes).

5.2.8.
2W-4W Conversion
This circuit converts 4W-voice signal inside PBX and 2W-voice signal. It is configured by Op-Amp and BN (Balance Network) in
CODEC.
5.2.9.
DSP Interface
DSP is controlled by CPU on the CPU board via command / status register interfaces.
5.2.10.
Surge Protection
A gas arrester (SA100) with discharge voltage 230V is mounted between Tip and SFG, Ring and SFG.
And a discharge tube (AL2) with the discharge voltage 1kV is mounted between SFG and FG.

Noise Rejection
It rejects the extrinsic noise that comes from the outside line with the coils L100 that are mounted common between Tip and Ring.
And also condenser C102 is mounted between Tip and Ring.
5.2.12.
CID Detection
CID signal is connected to DSP (IC101A-C) via AC coupling condensers (C100/C101) and detected by DSP (IC101A-C).
