4.2.2.9.
CODEC Function (IC203)
• CODEC Control... IC203
This uses PEB2466 by Infineon(Lantiq). CODEC interface  DCLK,CS,DOUT and DIN configure the analog characteristic such as
BN, frequency characteristic, level, lateral consonant. Also, the built-in I/O port is used as Hook detection, DTMF detection,BELL
relay control and DIAG relay control.
• A/D, D/A Conversion
This converts 4 wire analog signal and G.711 format PCM(
µþ/A)
4.2.2.10. Surge Protection
A gas arrester (SA2) with the discharge voltage 250V is mounted between T and SFG, R and SFG.
And a discharge tube (SA200) with the discharge voltage 1KV is mounted between SFG and FG. Furthermore, ZNR (ZNR2) with
the discharge voltage 82V is mounted on the PBX side of the photo MOS relay for adding line.

4.2.2.11. Power Failure Port
At the time of the power failure, for enabling a direct call to the extension phone, 1 lines out of 2 lines can be connected to the SLT
port, which provides a switching relay for power failure on the extension port. 
4.2.2.12. Noise Rejection
It rejects the extrinsic noise that comes from the outside line with the coils L1A-B that are mounted common between T- R and the
condensers C1A-B that are mounted between T-R.

Description of Functions and Circuits (SLC)
4.2.3.1.
CODEC Function (IC602)
Infineon(Lantiq) PEB3265 CODEC is installed. The analogue features such as BN, frequency characteristic, volume level, sidetone
are configured by FPGA CODEC interface DCLK, CS, DOUT, DIN. Also, it converts A/D to D/A, and 4-line-analogue signal to PCM
code in G.711 format.
4.2.3.2.
2W-4W Conversion
It converts 4W-VOX signal used in the PBX to 2W-VOX signal used in SLT, and vice versa. It consists of an operational amplifier in
the SLIC and a balanced network (B/N) in the CODEC. It can control the return loss of the audio data and frequency characteristics.
By modifying the CODEC program, it can match the corresponding impedance.

4.2.3.3.
DTMF Signal Detection
Each port has its own DTMF receiver in the codec.
Detection of DTMF signal by Codec transmits this data to the NS_MAIN via the FPGA.
Via the FPGA, NS_MAIN  reads the DTMF signal which is received in the Codec.
4.2.3.4.
Power Supply
Voltage and current generated by the SLIC is supplied to the phones.
Preset voltage is -52V.
Current is set as 26mA.
