7.2.3.
After Cleaning
(1) Close the ADF Door slowly until it clicks into place.
(2) Plug the AC Adaptor into the scanner, and then push the
Power Button to turn on the scanner.
(3) After cleaning the Paper Feed Roller and Double-feed
Prevention Roller, execute “Clear Counter” for cleaning roller
with Service Utility. (See 9.3.4.)

7.3.
Replacing Limited Life Parts
7.3.1.
Paper Feed Roller
(1) Push and hold the Power Button for one second or more to
turn off the scanner.
Then, unplug the AC Adaptor from the scanner. (See 7.2.1.)
Then, unplug the AC Adaptor from the scanner. (See 7.2.1.)
(2) Push the Door Open Button to open the ADF Door.
(See 7.2.1.)
(3) Open the Paper Feed Roller Cover.
(4) Remove the Paper Feed Roller.
(5) Take a new Paper Feed Roller out of the Roller Exchange Kit
(KV-SS058 for KV-S1026C or KV-SS059 for KV-S1015C).
(6) Install the new Paper Feed Roller with its gear on the left
(as seen from the back).

(7) Close the Paper Feed Roller Cover firmly.
Note:
•Make sure to close both sides of the Paper Feed Roller
Cover until they click into place.
•After installing the Paper Feed Roller, confirm that the
roller can rotate in the feeding direction.

7.3.2.
Double-feed Prevention Roller
(1) Replace the Paper Feed Roller. (See 7.3.1.)
(2) Open the Double-feed Prevention Roller Cover.
(3) Remove the Double-feed Prevention Roller.
(4) Take a new Double-feed Prevention Roller out of the Roller
Exchange Kit (KV-SS058 for KV-S1026C or KV-SS059 for
KV-S1015C).

(5) Install the new Double-feed Prevention Roller into the metal
holder with the longer groove on the right side (as seen form
the back).
