  Before starting failure diagnostics, check the operation 

following the pot performance test modes described 
below.

  1. Pour approx. 1000 ml water into the container. 
  2. Turn the power on. 
  3. Push Select pad and set 98.

The markings in the illustration mean as follows. 

● Continuous illumination   

 Flashing

  1. The reboil lamp illuminates, and the boiling 

operation starts. (LCD indicates a temperature 
higher than 5°C rounded to every 5°C.)

  2. After 9 minutes, vacuum keep warm lamp 

illuminates and switches to the keep warm 
mode. (Keep warm mode)

÷  After approx. 9 minutes, the 100 keep warm lamp 

changes to 98. 

÷  After approx. 3 minutes, the 90 keep warm lamp 

changes to 98. 

÷  After approx. 3 minutes, the 80 keep warm lamp 

changes to 98. 

÷  After approx. 3 minutes, the 60 keep warm lamp 

changes to 98. 

÷  Required time for the water temperature to increase 

to the set temperature 

  98 keep warm: approx.  1 to 2 minutes 
  90 keep warm: approx.  1 to 2 hours 
  80 keep warm: approx.  2.5 to 4.5 hours 
  60 keep warm: approx   8.5 to 13  hours 
  (in conditions of room temperature of 20°C with full 

water volume)

  When Reboil pad is pressed once. 
  1. The reboil lamp illuminates and reboil starts. 

Indication on LCD is as follows.

After 1 minute, vacuum keep warm lamp 
illuminates. Indication on LCD is as follows.

When the Reboil pad is pressed twice (for 
dechlorination) 

  1. Reboil lamp illuminates and boiling starts (LCD 

changes to 100 in the process). Indication on 
LCD is as follows.

  2. After 7 minutes, the vacuum keep warm lamp 

illuminates. Indication on LCD is as follows.

  1. Switch to keep warm with 98 setting. 
  2. Press the Reboil pad once or twice.
