  1. Lift up the handle and remove 2 screws from the control

panel. (Fig.1)

  2. Open the dust cover and release (with a flat head

screwdriver) the control panel fastening points and remove
control panel. (Fig. 2)

  3. Remove exhaust cover, rear cover and 5 screws from upper

body and pull to take it out. (Fig. 3)Note: To remove the
exhaust cover pry out with a flat head screwdriver as shown
in the illustration.

  4. Take out cord reel ass´y and remove the lead wires

(provided with quick-connect terminal) from the contact
spring tabs. (Fig. 4)

  5. Take out motor unit and remove 2 crews to take out motor

cover. (Fig. 5)

  6. Disconnect the lead wires (provided with quick-connect

terminals) from the carbon brush holder tabs and remove
front motor support. (Fig. 6)

  7. Replace the motor with a new one and connect the lead

wires to the carbon brush holder tabs.

  8. Reassemble front motor support and motor cover. Then

refasten the two screws. (Fig. 7)

Make sure the lead wires are correctly positioned to
avoid pinching them between parts.

  9. Place the motor unit and cord reel ass´y into the lower

body.Note: Align rear motor support with the lower body
guides. (Fig. 8)

 10. Connect the lead wires according to the schematic diagram

and reassemble the remaining parts in the reverse order.

Before reassembling upper body and exhaust cover
introduce the cord plug through their holes.

The two carbon brushes should be replaced at the same
time.

  1. Take out motor unit and remove motor cover as explained

previously in paragraph 3.1 Motor, points 1-5.

  2. Disconnect

lead

wires

(provided

with

quick-connect

terminal) from the carbon brush holder tabs.

  3. Remove the screw from the carbon brush holder to take it

out. (Fig. 9)

  4. Replace carbon brush unit with a new one.

  5. Insert the new carbon brush unit into the motor housing and

refasten the screw. (Fig. 10)

  6. Connect the lead wires to the motor tabs and reassemble

motor unit.

  7. Connect the lead wires to the motor tabs and reassemble

motor unit.

  1. Take out upper body and cord reel ass’y as explained

previously in paragraph 3.1 Motor, points 1-4.

  2. Take out motor unit. Remove thermal cut-out from its

lodging and disconnect the lead wires (provided with quick-
connect terminal) from the thermal cut-out tabs. (Fig. 11)

  3. Replace thermal cut-out with a new one and connect the

lead wires to its tabs.

  4. Reinstall the thermal cut-out through its guides and place

motor unit and cord reel ass´y into the lower body.

  5. Connect the lead wires according to the schematic diagram

and reassemble the remaining parts in the reverse order.

  1. Remove upper body as explained previously in paragraph

3.1 Motor, points 1-3.

  2. Lift the cord reel ass´y and remove the lead wires (provided

with quick-connect terminal) from the contact spring tabs.

  3. Remove from power control circuit the lead wires (provided

with quick-connect terminal) and the potentiometer button
supplement. (Fig. 12)

  4. Remove power control circuit from its fastening points and

replace with a new one. (Fig. 13)

  5. Reinstall power control circuit and potentiometer button

supplement. Then connect the lead wires according to the
schematic diagram.

  6. How to adjust the minimum power at 450W.To do it, place

the trimming potentiometer (VR1) to its centre position, then
place the rotary potentiometer (VR2) at minimum position
and adjust the trimming potentiometer at 450W.

  7. Reassemble upper body and remaining parts in the reverse

order.
