• Pb free solder has a higher melting point that standard solder; Typically the melting point is 50 - 70°F (30 - 40°) higher.  Please

use a soldering iron with temperature control and adjust it to 750 ± 20°F (400 ± 10°).  In case of using high temperature soldering
iron, please be careful not to heat too long.

• Pb free solder will tend to splash when heated too high (about 1100°F / 600°C).

1. Remove the attachment and blade.

2. Loosen two screws and remove the blade holder.

3. Press the trimmer driving bar outward. (ER-GB80 and

ER-GB70 only)

4. Loosen a screw on bottom and slide down the bottom

cover.

5. Remove the front panel together with the side panels.

If the front panel is removed alone, it may deform.

6. Remove the switch button.
7. Adjust the trimming height indication mark to the maxi-

mum [10][20] position.
Slide down the dial.

8. Insert a slotted screwdriver to take out the clip on both

side.
