(4) Pedestal Adjustment
Test Point : Pin 4 of CN1 (VIDEO OUT)
Rear section of the Main Board
Adjust :
VR3(PEDESTAL CONTROL)
Rear section of the Main Board
Mount the Cap on the Lens.
Connect the Oscilloscoper to Pin 4 of CN1.
Trigger the Oscilloscope at H-rate.
Adjust VR3 so that the Pedstal signal level becomes 50 ±
10mV as shown in Fig. 5-3.
Remove the Cap from the Lens.
(5) Video Gain Adjustment
Test Point : Pin 4 of CN1 (VIDEO OUT)

Adjust :
VR4(VIDEO GAIN)
Process section of the Main Board
Mount the Zoom Iris Lens on the Lens.
Aim the Camera at Logarithmic Gray Scale Chart.
Set the Lighting and Lens Iris at 2,000 lux and F16.
Connect the Oscilloscoper to Pin 4 of CN1.
Trigger the Oscilloscope at H-rate.
Turn VR5 (MANUAL GAIN CONTROL) on the Rear
Section of the Main Board fully counterclockwise.
Adjust VR4 so that the Video signal level becomes 700 ±
30 mVp-p as shown in Fig. 5-4.

Mount the ND2 Filter on the Lens.
Turn VR5 (MANUAL GAIN CONTROL) on the Rear
Section of the Main Board fully clockwise.

Confirm that the Video signal level becomes more than
700 mV) as shown in Fig. 5-4.
Return VR5 from fully clockwise to fully counter-
clockwise.

Aim the Camera at the 40-watt Lamp placed in the dark
background.
Set the Lens Iris at F1.4.
If the blooming and noise appear on the Video Monitor as
shown in Fig. 5-6 (No Good), readjust VR1.
Note : 
VR1 should be adjusted to the point where the blooming
just disappears and minimize the smear as shown in Fig.
5-6.(Good)
Do not adjust VR1 more than the point.
If readjust VR1, must be readjusted from the adjustment
steps (4) through (5).

(7) PLL VCO Adjustment
Test Point : TP2 (VCO)
TG/SG section of the Main Board
Adjust :
L1(VCO) TG/SG section of the Main Board
Supply the Black Burst or Composite Video signal to the
Camera Connector on the Rear Panel of the Camera.
Connect the Digital Voltmeter to TP2.
Adjust L1 to obtain 2.5 ± 0.2 V.
