1. Test Equipment Required
The following  test equipments are required for adjustment
of the Machine Vision Camera GP-MF622 and Machine
Vision B/W CCD Camera GP-MF130.
Oscilloscope
Digital Voltmeter
Underscanned Black and White Video Monitor
Signal Generator (Black Burst or Composite Video signal)
12V DC Power Supply Unit
Lighting (1,050 ± 50nt (2750 ± 150lux))
40-watt Lamp
Lux Meter
Manual Iris Lens (such as Fujinon HF16A)
Zoom Iris Lens (such as Fujinon FZ77A or equivalent)
ND2 Filter
Logarithmic Gray Scale chart 
(Part Number : YWV2310RB99)
CAMERA CABLE (SUCH AS GP-CA34)
2. Disassembling Procedure for
Adjustment

Referring to Fig. 2-1, remove one screw that secure the
Volume Cover, and remove the Volume Cover.

Switch Cover, and remove the Switch Cover.

Referring to Fig. 2-3, remove four screws that secure the
Upper Cover, and remove the Upper Cover.

Referring to Fig. 2-4, remove three screws that secure the
Front and Rear Escutcheon Units, and remove the Front
and Rear Escutcheon Units.

Referring to Fig. 2-5, remove the Guide from the Main
Board.

Main Board, and remove the Main Board in the direction
of the arrow from the chassis.

3. CCD Image Sensor Replacement 
Procedure
Disassemble the Camera while referring to the item 2.
Disassembling Procedure for Adjustment.
Referring to Fig. 3-1, remove two screws that secure the
CCD Section of the Main Board, and remove the CCD
Section of the Main Board from the Front Escutchen Unit.

4.  Connection and Setting Up for 
Adjustment
4.1. Connection
The Fig. 4-1 shows the Connecting Diagram for the
Adjustment Procedure.

Connect the Underscanned Black and White Video
Monitor to the Camera Connector on the Rear Panel of
the camera using the Camera Cable GP-CA34 and
Coaxial Cable.
Connect the Camera Cable GP-CA34 to the 12V DC
Power Supply Unit and Signal Generator. 
Connect the probe of Oscilloscope at desired Test Point
in each adjustment step.
4.2. Inital Position of the Switches and 
Controls for Adjustment
An Initial setting of the Switches on the Left side of the
Camera and Controls on the Rear Panel of the Camera
for this adjustment procedure are as follows.

4.3. Setting Up for Standard Picture
The adjustment should be done after 10 minutes warm
up. 
Set the Logarithmic Gray Scale Chart.
Mount the Iris Lens (HF16A) on the Camera. 
Incident light of 2,750 ± 150 lux on the Logarithmic Gray
Scale Chart.
Aim the Camera at the Logarithmic Gray Scale Chart. 
Set the Camera so that the Logarithmic Gray Scale Chart
becomes full picture on the Underscanned Black and
White Video Monitor. 
Adjust the Lens Iris to obtain correct focal point.
5. Adjustment Procedure
Refer to the Location of the Test Points and Adjusting
Controls on page 6.
(1) +5.0V Adjustment
Test Point : +Polarity of C67
Power section of the Main Board
Adjust :
VR6 (+5.1V ADJ)
Power sction of the Main Board
Connect the Digital Voltmeter to + Polarity of C67.
Adjust VR6 to obtain 5.1 ± 0.05V DC.
(2) Reset Bias Adjustment
Test Point : TP4 (RESET PULSE)
CCD section of the Main Board
Adjust :
VR2 (RESET BIAS)
TG/SG section of the Main Board
Connect the Oscilloscope to TP4.
FOR GP-MF622E, adjust VR2 to obtain indicated Voltage
(Rank)  ± 0.1V on the CCD section of the Main Board as
shown in Table 5-1 and Fig. 5-1.
