Power Supply Block
The above figure shows the flow to supply power.
[Power supply circuit on the IO board]
• The DC powers of +12V and +3.3V are generated on the IO board.
• The +12V power is supplied by the AC adaptor. This +12V power is used on the following boards:
- IO board     : +3.3V DC-DC converter circuit and output terminal of the IO terminal (CN601)
- CPU board : Power supply to drive the PAN motor drive driver
- TILT board : Power supply to drive the TILT motor drive driver, and DC-DC converter circuit for +5.7V that is supplied to the
camera unit
*The +12V power is mainly used as the power to drive the PAN and TILT motors and as the source power of the +5.7V DC-
DC converter in the camera unit. The +12V power for the +5.7V DC-DC converter in the camera unit is separated from the
+12V power for driving the PAN/TILT motor in the common mode filter (L124) on the CPU board.
• The +3.3V power is generated from the +12V power in the DC-DC converter circuit (IC603). It is used on the following boards:
- IO board       : Audio circuit and IO terminal unit
- CPU board : All of the +3.3V power supply
[Power supply circuit on the CPU board]
• On the CPU board, the +1.2V power used in the circuits internal to the CPU (IC102) is generated in the regulator (IC117).
[Power supply circuit on the TILT board]
• On the TILT board, the +5.7V power used in the camera unit is generated in the DC-DC converter unit (IC953) using the +12V
power that is supplied from the IO board via the CPU board. This +12V power is used on the following boards:
- TILT board     : Power supply to the TILT motor drive driver
• +5.7V power is used on the following boards.
- VIDEO board: DC-DC converter circuit (IC805) to generate the +3.3V power used in the camera unit
Power supply circuit (IC801) to generate the +15V and -5.5V powers to drive the CCD
- LENS board : Motor drive power supply to drive the FOCUS and ZOOM motors in the LENS unit
[Power supply circuit on the VIDEO board]
On the VIDEO board, four powers of +3.3V, +15V, -5.5V, and -0.4V are generated from the +5.7V power supplied from the TILT
board.
The following two power supply circuits are mounted:
• The +3.3V power is used on the following boards:
- VIDEO board: All of the +3.3V
- LENS board : Power supply to the LENS motor drive driver, and power supply to drive the LED (LED901)
• The +15V and -5.5V powers are used on the following boards:
- VIDEO board: V driver circuit (IC802) to drive the CCD
- CCD board : CCD drive power supply
• The -0.4V power is used on the following board:
- VIDEO board: V driver circuit (IC802) to drive the CCD
*The -0.4V power is generated from the -5.5V power supply (IC809).

Others
[I/O Terminal]
• The Input terminal has two systems; both of them are connected to the Input Port of the IC102 GPIO.
• Due to Internal Pull-up Resistance, the PNP Transistor (Q600, Q605) on the following level is usually in the OFF state and the
Input Port connected to the collector is at L level.
• If the terminal is short-circuited with the GND or the signal of L level is input, the PNP Transistor goes ON and the Input Port
goes to H level.
• The CPU checks the state of this port regularly to detect a change in this signal.
• The Output terminal is controlled by the Output Port of the IC102. When the Port output is L, the transistor (Q606) on the follow-
ing level is OFF and, when the output is H, the transistor is ON. This transistor has open collector output and it controls external
equipment via external pull-up.
[CLEAR SETTING SW(SW102)]
• The Clear Setting SW (SW102) mounted on the CPU board is connected to the Input Port of the GPIO. It is usually at H level and
goes to L level, when the SW is pressed.
• The CPU(IC102) monitors this Input Port periodically and, if it detects that this SW is pressed longer than a specified period, the
setting values other than the RTC are returned to factory settings.
