5.11. FM REC
FM Recording Check
(SV-SD370V only)
[ Content ]
Performs "FM radio reception”, repeats the "SD-card format-
ting, full recording (recording until card's capacity is completely
used), and playback" procedure, and checks for FM recording
and playback errors.
[ Operating procedure ]
1. Entering The Service Mode
Caution:
The SD-card will be formatted at the this mode.
Therefore, be sure to remove the service mode
SD-card from the audio player.
2. Select [ FM REC ] on the service mode menu and then
press the [PLAY/STOP] button, then displayed the recep-
tion frequency selection screen.
3. Select the reception frequency.
4. Insert the recording check SD-card into the audio player.
5. Press the [PLAY/STOP] button to begin FM recording.
6. The "repeated SD-card formatting, full recording 
(recording until card's capacity is completely used), 
and playback" procedure begins and the repeat count 
displays on screen.
• Content of display
1st line: Test name and repeat count
R.....Recording / P.....Playback
2nd line: Elapsed recording time
7. The above procedure is repeated until a recording error
occurs. Therefore, if no recording error has occurred after
approximately 2 repeats.
8. Open the battery cover to complete the procedure.
When the error occurs:
If a recording or a playback error occurs, operation is
stopped, and an error code displays on screen.
• Content of display
1st line: Test name and error code
2nd line: Track number and elapsed time
For error code details, refer to section 5.15 (Error Code Table).
Open the battery cover to complete the procedure.

5.12. MODEL
Model and Region Setting
[ Content ]
Model and region information are rewitten, and it makes it to
the default corresponding to them.
NOTE:
1. When replacement the IC or electric part, should be per-
formed this mode.
Initialization and writing data are done by performed this
mode.
2. This mode is not used by a usual confirming the opera-
tion, and uses it when abnormality is found in the model
and region display by [MODEL INFO] and wrong opera-
tion on service mode.
[ Operating procedure ]
1. Select [ MODEL ] on the service mode menu and then
press the [PLAY/STOP] button, then displayed the model
and region setting screen.
2. Select the region using [ + ] or [ - ] button, and then press
the [PLAY/STOP] button.
3. After completing the setting, automatically power off.
NOTE:
After this mode is performed, confirm that the region is 
correctly setting by [ MODEL INFO ]. 
5.13. VERSION
Internal Version Display
[ Content ]
Displays the internal version information.
[ Operating procedure ]
1. Select [ VIRSION ] on the service mode menu and then
press the [PLAY/STOP] button, then displayed the inter-
nal version display screen.

2. Press any button or leaving for 10 seconds to complete
the procedure.
5.14. WAKEUP COUNT
Use History Display
[ Content ]
Displays the use history memorized in FLASH.
(Normally power off history)
[ Operating procedure ]
1. Select [ WAKEUP COUNT ] on the service mode menu
and then press the [PLAY/STOP] button, then displayed
the internal version display screen.
2. Open the battery cover to complete the procedure.
