11. Radio-frequency, Electromagnetic Field Keyed Carrier Immunity test (EN61000-4-3)

11.1 Test criteria and test procedure

      Operating environment;
 Temperature:
23  ℃

Relative Humidity:
40 %

The tests were performed at 3m distance in an anechoic chamber.
For floor-standing equipment, the EUT was mounted non-conducting support 0.1 m above the
supporting plane. For tabletop equipment, the EUT was located on a wooden table 0.8 m above the floor.
The EUT was exposed to the field from different angles, normally 0°, 90°, 180°, 270°
and at both horizontal and vertical polarization(antenna height 1.75 m)
A signal level of 3 V/m, duty cycle 1/8 pulse modulated with a 217 Hz sine wave was applied in the
frequency range 900 MHz. During the test the 1 kHz unwanted noise level comes from the speaker was
detected using microphone and selected level meter

The minimum area of the ground reference plane is 1 m x 1 m, and connected to earth via a low impedance connection.
The EFT/Burst generator was located on the ground reference plane.
The EUT was located 0.1 m above the ground reference plane. The minimum distance between the EUT and all other
conductive structures, except the ground reference plane is more than 0.5 m.
The test voltage was applied simultaneously between each of the power supply conductors and the protective earth at the
power supply.
