Cycle AC Power (Unplug and plug AC Cord from the outlet).
REPLACING THE POWER SUPPLY BOARD
1.
Locate the Power Supply Board, disconnect all connectors and remove
screws, then lift as shown to detach.
2.
Locate the Sheet Insulation and lift as shown to detach.
3.
Install the new Power Supply Board, Sheet Insulation, screws and
connectors.
4.
Update the Software.
After ALL repairs UPDATE the SOFTWARE to the latest version.
Instructions are included with the Software package on the Sony
Authorized Service Portal website.
a.
Insert the USB device with the latest Software into one of the TVs’
USB ports.
b. Connect TV to AC power.
c.
Wait at least 20 seconds.
d. Press the Power button

on the TV to turn it ON.
e.
Wait until the Software update is completed.

REPLACING THE SWITCH UNIT
1.
Disconnect 1 connector and release the clips to lift and detach.
2.
Install the new Switch Unit, Holder, Side, screw and the connector.
REMOVING THE USB ASSEMBLY
1.
Locate the USB Assembly, release the clips and lift as shown to detach.

Release the USB connector from the Bracket, Top.
Then lift USB Holder to detach from Cable with Connector (USB)
as shown.

3.
Remove 1 screw from Base, Bracket Top and lift as shown to detach.
REMOVING THE SPEAKERS
1.
Locate the Speaker, disconnect connector and lift as shown to detach.
2.
Refer to these instructions for removing the opposite speaker.

REMOVING THE SMART CORE BLOCK
1.
Locate and disconnect all connectors, then remove the screws and twist
the Smart Core downwards as shown to detach.
2.
Press the clips as shown to detach the Top Cover from Bottom Cover.

3.
Release the hooks to detach the Back Cover, then lift the Mic Unit
to remove.

4.
Locate and unclamp the clips from BT Module and Wireless LAN Card,
then slide as shown to detach.

5.
Release 6 hooks on the sequence shown by pulling apart the Bottom
Cover to access the HSC2 Board.
