Additional Teletext tasks
To
display a Teletext page on the TV
picture
check the contents of a Teletext service
select a Teletext page
hold (pause) a Teletext page
(stop the page from scrolling)
reveal concealed information
(e.g., an answer to a quiz)
enlarge the Teletext display
stand by for a Teletext page while watching
a TV program
* You can also select a Teletext page of any page number that appears in the
colored column at the bottom of the screen using the corresponding color-
coded button on the remote.
Using FASTEXT
This feature allows you to quickly access a Teletext page that uses
FASTEXT. When a FASTEXT program is broadcast, the colored
menus appear at the bottom of the screen. The color of the menus
correspond to the red, green, yellow, and blue color-coded buttons
on the remote.
To access a FASTEXT menu
Press the color-coded button on the remote corresponding to the
menu you want. The menu page appears on the screen after a few
seconds.

An overview of the Teletext contents, including

The MENU button lets you open a menu and change the settings of your TV. Here's

How to use the menu
You can use the buttons on the remote
and on the TV as well to display the
menu and adjust the settings.

Tips
• To return from Menu Level 2 to Level 1, press + / – to select the return
icon (
), then press ENTER.
• You can also use the buttons on the TV for menu operations. ¸ +/– work
as + /– on the remote and … works as ENTER on the remote.
Notes
• If more than 60 seconds elapse between entries, the menu screen
automatically disappears.
• With better resolution of the on-screen fonts, interlace scanning might
cause flickers on some parts of the menu screen. This does not indicate a
malfunction.

Changing the “A/V
CONTROL” setting
The “A/V CONTROL” menu allows
you to change the picture and sound
settings.

Programming your favorite channels
The “FAVORITE CH” feature enables you to program up to six
channels for direct selection.

Blocking the channels (“CHILD LOCK”)
You can prevent your children from watching certain channels by
using the “CHILD LOCK” feature.
