2-1-8. AD Adjustment of YC Video (PAL) Sys-
tem
1) Set input to AV3.
2) Input PAL 50% window Signal 90 IRE in AV3.
3) Set picture quality mode to [PC/GAME].
Send “RGB Level” Command.
4) Adjust Y_OUT_LEVEL until the Green detection value is
within a setting value.
Detection setting value: 197 ± 3
5) Set Video Signal to PAL 50% window 20 IRE.
6) Adjust Cb_OFFSET1 until the detection value of Blue
becomes same as that of Green.
7) Adjust Cr_OFFSET1 until the detection value of Red becomes
same as that of Green.
8) Repeat step 6-7 until it become the following detection setting
value.
Detection setting value: 44
R,G,B detection value dispersion: ± 1
9) Repeat step 2-7 until it is in the detection setting value of 4)
and 8).
10) Input PAL 75% Color Bar signal into AV3. (Fig. 13)
11) Adjust C_OUT_LEVEL until the detection value of (A)
becomes same as that of (D), as shown in the figure 14.

3) Set picture quality mode to [PC/GAME].

5) Set Video Signal to PAL60 50% window 20 IRE.

2-2. White Balance Adjustment (LDM-
3000)
• Measurement equipment
1. Color analyzer (CA-210 manufactured by MINOLTA)
2. Signal generator (ASTRO DESIGN VG-828D)
• Aging
1. Aging condition
The aging condition before the W/B Adjustment is as folows.
     Time                          : Over 10 min
     Ambient temperature : 22 ˘C to 28˘C
     Brightness                  : The value set by the aging mode
2. Connect the AC cord to the Display Unit.
In that case, do not connect the cable to the DVI or MDR
connector.
LED Lighting Check
Note : After the aging is performed, if the power becomes
OFF before the W/B adjustment, perform the aging for
30 seconds or more, and then perform the W/B adjust
ment.1.
• Connections
Perform the following connections for the Display Unit that
the aging has been complete.
1. Connect the JIG PC with the MDR connector on the P
board.
2. Connect the SG with the DVI connector on the P board.
3. Set the MINOLTA CA-210 to the LCD panel.
Notes :
•Perform steps 1 and 2 in above-described order.
•If the AC cord is disconnected, try to shorten the discon
  necting time.(If not, the aging may be required again.)

2-2-1.White balance adjustment of color
temperature “Cool”
1.
Before the adjustment, set SET_FEATURE to “2”.
2.
Set WHITE_BALANCE to “4”.
3.
Confirm the following register settings
4.
From the SG, input the 70IRE all-gray signal.
5.
Adjust SUBCONT_R and SUBCONT_B referring to the
following Highlight Adjustment Specifications.
6.
From the SG, input the 20IRE all-gray signal.
7.
Adjust SUBBRIGHT_R and SUBBRIGHT_B referring to
the following Cutoff Adjustment Specifications.
8.
Repeat steps 1-4 to 1-7 performing the tracking until the
values satisfy the highlight and cutoff specifications.
9.
Save the values.
2-2-2. White balance adjustment of color tem-
perature “Normal”
1.
Set WHITE_BALANCE to “2”.
2.
Perform steps 1-3 to 1-9 of White balance adjustment of
color temperature “Cool”.
2-2-3. White balance adjustment of color tem-
perature “Warm”
1.
Set WHITE_BALANCE to “1”.
2.
Perform steps 1-3 to 1-9 of White balance adjustment of
color temperature “Cool”.
