2-1. AGING
(1) Aging must be performed before White Balance
Adjustment.
(2) Aging setting
a) White screen
b) Red LED blinking
(3) To obtain the above setting, press the following
sequence of buttons using the supplied remote
commander while the unit is on standby.

 t Channel 5 t Volume [+] t TV 
Once the above sequence is performed, ‘TT_ _ will
appear in the upper right corner of the screen. Now
press - 
t 7. The TV screen will turn white and LED
blink red.
(4) Aging condition:
Power supply
: 230V + 10V (50/60Hz)
Time
: More than 30 minutes
Temperature
: 22°C ~ 28°C
Luminance
: On aging mode setting
LED indication pattern during Aging.
Note: Aging vs Temp:
If Temp sensor < 20°C
: Aging Time = 30 min
If 20°C < T° sensor < 30°C
: Aging Time = 25 min
If 30°C < T° sensor
: Aging Time = 20 min
2-2. AUTO ADJUSTMENT OF SIGNAL LEVEL
2-2-1. PAL auto adjustment (CVBS)
(1) Select AV1 and input PAL signal.
(2) Set Picture Mode to “PERSONAL” and adjust to
following condition:-
Picture 90, Brightness 50, Color 50
(3) Input PAL CVBS signal (CB-75% Y, 75% C)
(4) Send ECS command for PAL AD adjustment.
2-2-2. PAL auto adjustment (RGB)
(1) Select AV1 and input RGB signal.
(2) Set Picture Mode to “PERSONAL” and adjust to
following condition:-
Picture 90, Brightness 50, Color 50
(3) Input PAL RGB signal (CB-75% Y, 75% C)
(4) Send ECS command for RGB AD adjustment.
2-2-3. SECAM auto adjustment (CVBS)
(1) Select AV1 and input SECAM signal.
(2) Set Picture Mode to “PERSONAL” and adjust to
following condition:-
Picture 90, Brightness 50, Color 50
(3) Input SECAM CVBS signal (CB-75% Y, 75% C)
(4) Send ECS command for SECAM AD adjustment.
SECTION 2
ADJUSTMENTS
AGING_TIMER > 0 (Aging in progress)
Red (0.5sec) -> Off (0.5sec) -> Red(0.5sec)
AGING_TIMER = 0 (Aging finished)
RED LED = ON
2-3. ENTERING TEST/TT MODE
(1) With the unit on standby, press the following
sequence of buttons on the remote commander.
Display 
 t Channel 5 t Volume [+] t TV 
(2) ‘TT_ _ will appear in the upper right corner of the
screen. Other status information will also be
displayed.
(3) Press ‘MENU” to obtain TT menu:
(4) To move to ‘Service Menu’, use up (
R) down (r)
button.
(5) Press right (
t) button to enter ‘Service Menu’ detail
items.
(6) Press ‘Menu’ button to quit TT menu. Screen will
still display ‘TT_ _’.
To exit press - twice, switch the TV into standby mode
or switch TV set OFF.
2-4. PAL WHITE BALANCE ADJUSTMENT
(HIGHLIGHT)
(1) Select AV1.
(2) Set Picture Mode to “PERSONAL” and adjust to
following condition:-
Color temperature ‘NORMAL’, Picture 100,
Brightness 50, Color 50, Backlight 100, Power
Saving ‘OFF’
(3) Input PAL CVBS 70 IRE full field signal to AV1.
(4) Adjust Highlight registers:
NORMAL_PAL_RDH & RDL (R Drive)
NORMAL_PAL_BDH & BDL (B Drive)
(5) The highlight registers stated in item no.4 is listed in
‘Service Menu’, accessible from TT menu
(refer 2-3).
(6) To adjust for 20”, perform step 1~3
, then press
“TT94” (in TT MODE) and continue step 4~5.
