SECTION  2
ADJUSTMENTS
2-1. MEASUREMENT EQUIPMENT
Signal generator (FLUKE 54200)
2-2. WORKING CONDITION
2-2-1. General working condition
(1)It makes standard condition in the case that there is not
appointment especially.
 Standard condition 
PICTURE_MODE : Live
(2)AC rating voltage determines like right description.
 AC rating voltage 
230V ±
 
10V  50/60Hz
2-2-2. Target of adjustment
Adjustment process is based on the error zero.
When judged as no enough adjustment for target at
inspection process, Return it to the adjustment process even
if it is standard in spec.
2-3. CHECK OF AN INITIAL PICTURE, ETC
2-3-1. Working Procedure of AC on
(1)Supply AC power supply of insulation style.
(2)AC voltage is set up to the rating.
(3)Start Ageing by direct command “  07 ”.
2-3-2. Confirmation
(1)Check the front panel LED(Green) lights up.
(2)There must not be a flame, a smoke, a flash of light,  and
an allophone.
(3)There must be no abnormality to screen.
(4)Apply shock tests and check 1) 
 3).
(5)The picture shall come out normally with AC176V.
(6)The picture shall come out normally with AC288V.
2-4. AGING
(1)Aging setting
Start ageing by direct command “  07 ”.
 Aging set status 
White screen
Red LED blinking
(2)Aging condition
1) On this condition before W/B.
Power supply : 230V ±
 
10V (50/60Hz)
Time
: More than 30 minutes
Temperature : 22ºC 
 28ºC
Luminance
: On again mode setting
 LED indication pattern during Aging 
AGING_TIMER > 0  (Aging in progress)
Red (0.5sec) -> Off(0.5sec) -> Red(0.5sec) .........
AGING_TIMER = 0  (Aging finished)
Red LED = ON
 Caution point 
After aging, if power was shut down before W/B has been
adjusted, W/B must be adjusted.
after doing aging for more than 30 minutes.
Note:  Aging vs Temp.:
If Temp sensor < 20 ºC
: Aging Time = 30 min.
If  20 ºC 
≤ Tº sensor < 30 ºC : Aging Time = 25 min.
If  30 ºC 
≤ Tº sensor
: Aging Time = 20 min.
2-5. AUTO ADJUSTMENT OF SIGNAL LEVEL
2-5-1. PAL auto adjustment (CVBS)
(1)Select AV1 and input PAL signal.
(2)Change to Personal Mode and change following registers.

Brightness : 50d
Color
: 50d
(3)Input PAL CVBS signal (CB- 75% Y, 75% C).
(4)Send ECS Command for PAL AD Adjustment.
2-5-2. PAL auto adjustment (RGB)
(1)Select AV1 and input RGB signal.
(2)Change to Personal Mode and change following registers.

Brightness : 50d

: 50d
(3)Input PAL RGB signal (CB- 75% Y, 75% C).
(4)Send ECS Command for RGB AD Adjustment.
2-5-3. SECAM auto adjustment (CVBS)
(1)Select AV1 and input SECAM signal.
(2)Change to Personal Mode and change following registers.

2-6. PAL WHITE BALANCE ADJUSTMENT
(HIGHLIGHT)
(1)Select AV1.
(2)Set the personal mode and change following registers.
Colour tone to NORMAL
Contrast
: 100d
Brightness : 50d
Color
: 50d
Backlight : 100d
Eco mode in standard
(3)Input PAL CVBS 70 IRE full field signal to AV1.
(4)Adjust Highlight registers.
