1.
Remove the rear cover (See 2-1) and rear cabinet (See 2-2).
2.
Remove the A3 board (See 2-7) and BP board and arrange as shown in the picture below. Reconnect the interconnecting harness to the
circuit boards.
Note: One new cable is needed to connect the boards in the service position.
           Part Number: 9-948-020-73
A3 board CN651, CN7422 to G2 board CN6401, CN6405.

Remove the P board.
4.
Remove the U board (See 2-12).
5.
Remove the N board (See 2-11) and ensure it is insulated.

Remove the F board and ensure it is insulated.
7.
Remove the G1 board. Place some support as close as possible to the TV set as shown below.
8.
Remove the G2 board.  Again place some support as close as possible to the TV set as shown below.
9.
The boards are now arranged properly in the service position.

Service adjustments to this model can be performed using the
supplied remote Commander RM-EA001 or RM-ED001.
3.
Press ‘MENU’ on the remote commander to obtain the following
menu on the screen.

Move to the Service icon using the up or down arrow button on
the remote commander
5.
Press the right arrow button to enter into the required menu item.
6.
Press the ‘Menu’ button on the Remote Commander to quit the
Service Mode when all adjustments have been completed.
Note :
After carrying out the service adjustments, to prevent the
customer accessing the ‘Service Menu’ switch the TV set OFF
and then ON.
1.
Turn on the power to the TV set and enter into the stand-by
mode.
2.
Press the following sequence of buttons on the Remote
Commander.

 SET-UP ADJUSTMENTS
3-1. How to enter Service Mode
3-2-1. Check AD (CCPX case) calibration
registration items.(Also see 3-2-1(a))
This adjustment is done using ECS.
1. Select AV1 and input PAL signal.
2. Change the TV Picture Mode to 1 (Custom).
3. Set the following registration items.

2. Input 0 IRE black full field with burst.
3. Send “READ_PW_INPUT_Y” command from ECS.
4. Check that the detection value of “PW_INPUT_Y” is within the
standard below.

6. Send “ADJUST_Y_LEVEL_VIDEO” command from ECS.
The CP13_CVBS_Y_LEV registration of the video range is
adjusted automatically by this command
Adjustment value is also copied in to the proper NVM area.
7. Check that the detection value of “PW_INPUT_Y” is within the
standard below.
