3-1. WHITE 
BALANCE 
ADJUSTMENT
The white balance adjustment is required when the “FRONT COVER 
SERVICE” or the “MAIN PWB ASSY SERVICE” was replaced.
Adjusting method
1.  Press the [1] button while pressing the [BACK] button and the [B] 
button to turn on the power. (The service mode starts.)
2.  Release the buttons if an initial screen of the service mode is dis-
played in LCD.
3.  Match the cursor to “--> to Page02” by pressing the [v/V] button 
several times, then press the [ENTER] button.
4.  Match the cursor to “Manual White Balance Test” by pressing the 
[v/V] button several times, then press the [ENTER] button.

5.  A stepped image of 8 lines will be displayed, and after about 15 
seconds, adjust the offset value with [Direction (v/V/B/b)] but-
tons so that the image is not colored. For [Direction (v/V/B/b)] 
buttons, the left and right direction buttons adjust R while the up 
and down direction buttons adjust B.
Note:  Check the image at the front of LCD. (Normally, the offset value is 
R [0] B [0])

6.  When the adjustment finished press the [ENTER] button.

panel removed.
