This section describes procedures and instructions necessary for
adjusting electrical circuits in this unit.
Instruments required:
(1) Color monitor TV
(2) Oscilloscope 1 or 2 phenomena, band width over 100 MHz, with
delay mode
(3) Frequency counter (over 8 digits)
(4) Digital multimeter
(5) Standard commander (RMT-D178A/RMT-D178P)
(6) DVD reference disc

7-2. ADJUSTMENT OF VIDEO SYSTEM

Checking Video Level
<Purpose>
Checking Video Level the NTSC/PAL standard, and if not correct, the
brightness will be too large or small.

Checking Progressive Video Output Level
<Purpose>
Check progressive video output level. If it is incorrect, correct
brightness will not be attained when connected to, for instance,
projector.

<Purpose>
Check S-terminal video output. If it is incorrect, pictures will not be
displayed correctly in spite of connection to the TV with a S-terminal
cable.

This checks whether the S-C satisfies the NTSC/PAL standard. If it is
not correct, the colors will be too dark or light.
