SECTION  7
ELECTRICAL  ADJUSTMENT
This section describes procedures and instructions necessary for
adjusting electrical circuits in this set.
7-1.  VCOM DC LEVEL
1.  VCOM DC Level Adjustment
<Purpose>
When the LCD Board or MAIN Board is replaced, the VCOM DC
Level Adjustment is necessary.
Note: There are two methods of VCOM DC level adjustments. Please adjust
it by method 1 when the set can display the adjustment mode. Adjust
it by method 2 when the set cannot display.

When adjusting it by the method 1, please record the value displayed
in the adjustment mode before parts are exchanged.
Instruments required:
1) Digital voltmeter
2)  Standard commander (RMT-D193)
3)  AC power adaptor
Display method of adjustment mode:
1)  The AC power adaptor is connected and it turns on power.
2) “Loading”
→“No Disc” is displayed.
3)  Press the button of standard commander as following order.
 [0]
→[0]→[0]→[ANGLE]
4)  Adjustment mode is displayed.

Adjusting method:
Method 1. (When the adjustment mode is displayed)
1)  Before exchanging parts, adjustment mode is displayed and the
value is recorded.
2)  After exchanging parts, adjustment mode is displayed again.
3)  Matches it to the recorded value with the VOL [+] or [–] button
of standard commander (Or, this set).
4)  The adjustment mode is ended pushing the [ENTER] button of
standard commander (Or, this set).
<Adjustment example>
The value before parts are exchanged is recorded.
(In this case “138”)
