This supplement-1 is the method for making the half completion inspection of SAL70200G possible by
modifying the SSM HALF COMPLETION JIG: J-6082-662-A that is used for SAL2470Z and SAL1635Z.

[Modification method]
Note:
When using SSM HALF COMPLETION JIG as for SAL2470Z or SAL1635Z, the three lead wires below are not used, therefore
insulate the tip of these lead wires.
1. Remove the top cover of SSM HALF COMPLETION JIG by removing four screws.
2. Connect the three lead wires to 6(GND), 7, 8Pin of USB-1208LS.
3. Organize the lead wires as shown below, and pull those out through the gap in the Encoder connector.
4. Mount the top cover of SSM HALF COMPLETION JIG by tightening up four screws.

Note:
The modification of SSM HALF COMPLETION JIG (J-6082-662-A) should be completed.
1. Do the trial checking lens assembly as shown Fig.1.
(Outer Barrel and Zoom Operation Ring should be removed)
2. Solder the lead wires of the modified HALF COMPLETION JIG to the MM board unit of a checking lens and to the DC-DC board unit
as shown Fig.2.
3. Connect equipment and checking lens as shown Fig.3.

[How to select ActuatorChecker with HALF COMPLETION JIG in half completion inspection]
Note 1:
The connection in the half completion inspection should be completed.
Note 2:
The lens adjustment program (ActuatorChecker) Ver3.08 or later is needed.
1. Start up "ActuatorChecker"
2. Click the Set up button.
3. When "Half" of SAL70200G is selected, the AD TYPE appears.
4. Select Type I or II (It is changed by click) with reference to the below.

AD TYPE: I
Select if using the HALF COMPLETION JIG (J-6082-692-A)
AD TYPE: II
Select if using the modified SSM HALF COMPLETION JIG (J-6082-662-A)
5. Click the OK button.
