1.
Cut three polyester tapes (black) 10mm in the specified size and affix them to the locations indicated in the figure.
2.
Install the focus rubber ring to the MF operation ring.
3.
Fold up the 1st lens side of focus rubber ring.
4.
Affix three SW flexible setting tapes as shown in the figure. (3 tapes on the circumference at the equal interval)
5.
Peel the protection sheet off the contact side of SW flexible setting tape and fold the focus rubber ring back to the original position.

Apply the anti-diffusion agent (A-20) to the indicated area of MF operation ring.
2.
Apply the grease (G-85) to the indicated area of MF operation ring.

1.
Install the mirror tube block, aligning the index of mirror tube block with the focus stopper pin of outer tube as shown in the figure
below.
2.
Apply two drops of adhesive bond (B-40) to six screws and tighten six screws to fix the mirror tube block.

Selection of focus guide roller (2 group move frame block)
1.
Install the focus guide roller of which diameter is smaller than the dimension described on the outer tube by 2 size and confirm that 2
group move frame block moves smoothly (operation feeling) without play.
In case of “OK”: The selection is finished.
In case of “NG”: Proceed to step 2.
In case of “NG”: Proceed to step 2.
2.
Insert the 2 group move frame block in the outer tube and align the focus guide pin installation part (flat part) of 2 group move frame
block with the 2nd cam groove of outer tube.
3.
Install the focus guide pin to the focus guide roller.
4.
Hold the screw portion of focus guide pin with tweezers and push the screw head side to the focus guide pin installation part (flat
part).
5.
When moving the 2 group move frame block from the infinite end to the near end, if the focus guide roller moves smoothly without
play, it is defined as the “the same focus guide roller as the groove width”.
6.
Select the focus guide roller of which diameter is smaller by 2-size than the focus guide roller with the same size as the groove width.

Selection of focus guide roller (3rd lens barrel)
1.
Install the focus guide roller of which diameter is smaller by 1-size than the dimension of 3rd cam groove described on the outer tube
and confirm that the 3rd lens barrel moves smoothly (operation feeling) without play.
In case of “OK”: The selection is finished.
In case of “NG”: Proceed to step 2.
In case of “NG”: Proceed to step 2.
2.
Re-assemble the 3rd lens barrel at the position where it is rotated 180
° with respect to the outer tube in the arrow direction and
confirm the operation feeling.
In case of “OK”:
The selection is finished.
In case of “NG”:
If the operation feeling is better than in step 1, proceed to step 2.
In case of “NG”:
If the operation feeling is worse than in step 1, turn back the 3rd lens barrel 180
° with
respect to the outer tube and proceed to step 3.

Select the focus guide roller of which diameter is smaller by 2-size than the described dimension.
