Cut and remove the part of gilt 
which comes off at the point.
(Be careful or some 
pieces of gilt may be left inside) 

• Make sure that the flat cable and flexible board are not cracked of bent at the terminal.

Do not insert the cable insufficiently nor crookedly.

• When remove a connector, don’t pull at wire of connector. It is possible that a wire is snapped.

• When installing a connector, don’t press down at wire of connector.

It is possible that a wire is snapped.

• Do not apply excessive load to the gilded flexible board.

In case of the following notches or holes are located in the lens block, etc during disassembling/
assembling the lens, Use the universal wrench.

Attach the chip-A or chip-B to the universal wrench.
For the notches: chip-A
For the holes:

Match the universal wrench to the holes or notches of the lens block, etc.

How to remove the AF/MF switch block (Scratch prevention)
1. Remove two screws fixing the AF/MF switch block.
2. Push out two screw installation parts from the inside and 
    remove the AF/MF switch.

Note for assembling and grease applying positions are shown.

1.

Install the back adjustment washer to the main assy.

2.

Set the main assy so that it becomes in the WIDE state.

3.

Put the function lever of the mount assy in the groove of aperture driving wheel, install the mount assy while releasing the main

spring outward and tighten it with four mount fix screws.

House the main spring of the mount assy in the gear assy and assemble it.

Install the mount assy so that the main spring of the mount assy does not conflict with the zoom brush

1.

Remove two screws fixing the AF/MF switch block.

2.

Push out two screw installation parts from the inside and remove the AF/MF switch.

1.

Set the slide switch of gear assy to AF.

2.

Set the knob of AF/MF switch block to AF.

3.

Install the AF/MF switch block with two screws.

Adhesive bond (LOCTITE 460)

Use the adhesive bond (LOCTITE 460) or an equivalent article.

Do not use what becomes white after drying like quick-drying glue.

1.

Apply the adhesive bond (LOCTITE 460) to the affixing side of mount index of rear barrel assy and affix the mount index.
