How to assemble the helicoids unit
1.
Make the outside barrel and the inner helicoid barrel in the relationship as shown in figure.
2.
Assemble the connection barrel so that the positioning pin (stopper screw) to position the V-shaped groove and the connection barrel
in the tube comes on the straight line. At this moment, assemble with each filter inserted in the center.
3.
Turn the inner helicoid barrel so that the helicoid set height becomes 43
±0.1 mm.
4.
Apply grease (G-10) to the portions of linear guide key indicated in figure.
5.
Align the linear guide key groove of connection barrel and attach the linear guide key.
6.
Apply the adhesive bond (B-40) to the tips of four screws of linear guide key shown in figure.
Note:
Confirm that the inner helicoid barrel move smoothly.
7.
Fix temporarily the focus stop plate in the center of oblong hole.
Note:
After the flange back (f’F) adjustment (Refer to 4-3-2), apply the adhesive bond (B-10) to head of three screws.

1.
Apply the grease (G-10) to the indicated portions of inner helicoid barrel. (3 locations)
2.
Apply the grease (G-10) to the indicated portions of inner helicoid barrel stopper.
Note:
After tightening, loosen about 13mm in the rotational direction from the dead end and apply the adhesive bond (B-10) of about
10 mm on circumference of 2 areas.
After assembled, confirm that the inner helicoid barrel move smoothly and no play exists.

1.
Tighten the two screws shown in figure and apply the bond (B-10) to the tip of two screws.
2.
Apply the adhesive bond (B-40) to the tip of filter holding plate stopper pin and tighten it.
Note:
When tighten the filter holding plate stopper pin, minimize gap of the filter holding block and select the washer B so that the
filter holding block may move lightly.
3.
Press-fit the filter link lever into the portion A.
4.
Apply the adhesive bond (B-40) to the tip of filter link lever stopper screw and tighten it.
Note:
When tighten the filter link lever stopper screw, minimize gap of the filter link fork and the filter link lever, and select the
washer so that the filter link lever may move lightly.
5.
Adjust the filter position by loosening two screws fixing the filter so that the filter frame dose not eclipse the lenses in the middle ball
group lens block.
6.
Check that the filter block should be moved smoothly by the force of filter link spring.

1.
Apply the anti-diffusion agent (A-20) to the indicated portions of connection barrel.
2.
Apply the grease (G-10) to the indicated portions of connection barrel.

1.
Apply the adhesive bond (B-10) to the indicated portions, tighten the two stopper screw even zoom adjust rubber.
2.
Contact the zoom adjust rubber to the linear guide key shown in figure.
3.
Then tighten the two screws.
Note:
How to stop of gap of the linear guide key may vary according to adjustment of tightening the stopper screws.
