When installing the zoom barrel, align the portion A of zoom barrel with the cut portion at the side of the encoder flexible board.
And engage the bayonet grooves of zoom barrel to the bayonets of outer barrel at three locations.
(When engaged, the zoom barrel drops in and can rotate clockwise.)

While pushing the MR block assy in the arrow direction (toward the wall), fix the MR block assy with two screws.
2.
Apply the adhesive bond (B-10) the screw heads (two locations) after adjusting the MR waves.

Grease (G-62): J-6082-670-A

Apply the grease (G-62) to the indicated portions of encoder printed wiring board.
Note:
After three dropping greases each encoder portion, spread it entirely and wipe it slightly.

Cut the tips of brush.
3.
Perform “4-7-5. Focus Brush Position Check/Adjustment”.
4.
After confirmation/adjustment, fix the focus brush with one screw and apply the adhesive bond (B-10) to the head of one screw.

Drop the grease (G-62), spread it entirely
the flexible board and wipe it slightly.

Set the optics block assy to the WIDE end.
2.
Install the SSM flexible board to the hole A of the outer barrel block assy, threading the focus brush base through the oblong hole B.
3.
Apply the adhesive bond (B-40) to about two threads from the tips of screws and tighten them (at three locations).
