1-6.  PRECAUTION ON REPLACING THE MB N PLATE AND NDF UNIT
Perform the following procedures for each of the three washers.
Note: Measure the dimensions before replacement of the MB N Plate and NDF Unit according to procedures (1) to (3).
(1)  Remove the Imager Block Assy and the IM Adjust Washers.
(2)  Measure the dimensions (A) of the removed IM Adjust Washers.

(3)  Measure the distance (B) between the surface of the screw hole where the IM Adjust Washers were set and the surface of the E-Mount.
(4)  Likewise, measure the dimensions (B’) of each location where IM Adjust Washers of new Cabinet Front are installed.
(5)  Calculate the dimension of (A’) of new IM Adjust Washers by using the formula below, and select the washers.

(6)  Assemble the imager, using the selected IM Adjust Washers.
(7)  After assembling is completed, perform the test shooting and confirm that no blur is observed in the peripheral area of shot.

1-7. SELF-DIAGNOSIS FUNCTION
1-7-1. Self-diagnosis Function
When problems occur while the unit is operating, the self-diagnosis 
function starts working, and displays on the LCD screen what to do.
This function consists of two display; self-diagnosis display and service 
mode display.Details of the self-diagnosis functions are provided in the 
Instruction manual.
1-7-2. Self-diagnosis Display
When problems occur while the unit is operating, the counter of the LCD 
screen shows a 4-digit display consisting of an alphabet and numbers,
which blinks at 3.2 Hz. This 5-character display indicates the “repaired 
by:”, “block” in which the problem occurred, and “detailed code”of the 
problem.

Battery current value goes over the max 
discharge current
Check the remaining battery power because this symptom maybe 
depended on the remaining battery level, and confirm whether or 
not the symptom is occurred after replacing the battery. If the symp-
tom is still occurred, overhaul inspection is needed. Check each 
output of DC/DC converter on IC4301 of VC-1006 board with the 
AC adaptor connected DC JACK (J901).

1-8.  METHOD OF COPING WITH LENS ERROR
When lens error is occurred, check the following items.
Lens error codes:
・  E: 61: 30 (Reset position detection error on the stepper iris initializing)
・  E: 62: 11 (Shift lens overheating (Pitch))
・  E: 62: 12 (Shift lens overheating (Yaw))
・  E: 62: 20 (Abnormality of thermistor)
Check items:
1.  Replace the lens.
2.  Replace the VC-1006 board or IC1301 on the VC-1006 board.
3.  Check that the square wave is appeared below points.
・ BODY_VD_LENS (pin 0 of CN5201 or pin 6 of IC5201 on the MT-1002 board)
・ BODY_DATA_LENS (pin qf of CN5201 or pin 4 of IC5203 on the MT-1002 board)
・ LENS_DATA_BODY (pin qd of CN5201 or pin 5 of IC5202 on the MT-1002 board)
1-9.  NOTE ON REPLACEMENT OF MOUNT ADAPTOR (LA-EA3) (SERVICE)
To replace the Adaptor Service, connect this mount to NEX-F3D/F3K/F3Y, and release the specified plug according to the “SERVICE” section of 
Adjust Manual.
Note: The Lens can not be detected when this mount is connected to NEX-VG900/VG900E without releasing the specified plug, even if A-Mount Lens is mounted.

1-1.  修理時の電源供給について
本機では,安定化電源(8.4Vdc)からバッテリ端子に電源を供給した場合,約10秒後にシャットオフし,動作しなくなります。
これを避けるため,下記の方法を用いてください。
方法:
ACアダプターを使用する。
1-2.   VC-1006 基板交換時の注意
基板交換時は,下記の点に注意してください。
仕向けデータ
補修用基板と交換する時,補修用基板に書かれている仕向けデータは元の設定と違っている場合があります。
Adjust StationからAdjust Manualを起動させて「DESTINATION DATA WRITE」を実行させてください。
USBシリアルNo.
セットは,1台毎に異なる固有のID(USB Serial No.)を書き込んだ後,出荷されています。
新品の補修用基板には,このIDが書き込まれていないので,基板交換後にIDを入力する必要があります。
Adjust StationからAdjust Manualを起動させて「USB SERIAL No. INPUT」を実行させてくだください。
イメージャー DRA データ
Adjust  manualのDATAタブにある,「Imager  DRA  Data  Reference」を使用して,VC基板を交換する前のセットからイメージャーデー
タを抽出してください。
VC基板の交換後,Adjust  manualのADJUSTタブにある,「Imager  DRA  Data  Input」を使用してVC基板を交換する前セットから抽出し
たデータをセットへ書き込んでください。
EVF WB調整値
本機ではEVF表示素子(LCD902)ごとのWB調整値がVC基板に書き込まれています。
このためLCD902またはVC基板を交換した場合には調整値の書き込みを行ってください。
プロダクトID
セットは,機種毎に異なる固有のID (プロダクト ID) を書き込んだ後,出荷されています。
新品の補修用基板には,このIDが書き込まれていないので,基板交換後にIDを入力する必要があります。
Adjust StationからAdjust Manualを起動させて「 PRODUCT ID & USB SERIAL No. INPUT」を実行させてください。
プロダクトIDの設定について
新品の補修用基板にはプロダクト IDが設定されていません。
そのため補修用基板に交換すると,お客様がユーザー登録されているプロダクト IDと相違が出てしまう可能性があります。
補修用基板に交換した後は,Adjust StationからAdjust Manualを起動させて「 PRODUCT ID & USB SERIAL No. INPUT」を実行させてく
ださい。
1-3.  イメージャーユニット交換時の注意
このモデルではイメージャーユニットを交換する際に,下記の手順が必要です。
・  交換前のセットからイメージャーデータの抽出が可能である場合
  "1-2. VC-1006 基板交換時の注意" にある "イメージャー DRAデータ" の内容を参照してください。
・  交換前のセットからデータの抽出が不可能である場合
  VC基板とイメージャーユニットの両方を交換してください。
  また,イメージャーユニットを注文した際に添付されているCD-ROMよりデータをPCに取り込んでください。
  取り込んだデータを Adjust manual のADJUSTタブにある,「Imager DRA Data Input」を使用してセットへ書き込んでください。
  また調整の全項目が完了した後に,Adjust manual の SERVICE タブにある「Phase Detection AF Check」を実施してください。
1-4.   EVF表示素子(LCD902)またはVC-1006基板交換時の注意
本機ではEVF表示素子(LCD902)ごとのWB調整値がVC基板に書き込まれています。
このためLCD902またはVC基板を交換した場合には調整値の書き込みを行ってください。

1.  LCD902のラベルに印字されている調整値を確認し,控えておく。
2.  交換作業が完了したらAdjust manualを使用し,ADJUSTタブにある「EVF WB Adj.」を実行する。
VC基板交換時 (調整値を読み取り可能な場合)
1.  修理前のセットが起動し,Adjust  manualを使用し調整値を読み取ることが可能な場合は,DATAタブにある「ADJUSTMENT 
DATA BACKUP」を実行する。
2.  補修用VC基板に交換した後,抽出したデータをAdjust manualのDATAタブにある「ADJUSTMENT DATA BACKUP」を実行してセッ
トに書き込む。
VC基板交換時 (調整値を読み取り不可能な場合)
1.  修理前のセットから調整値を読み取り不可能場合は,セットを分解し,LCD902のラベルに印字されている調整値を控えておく。
2.  補修用VC基板に交換した後,Adjust manualを使用し,ADJUSTタブにある「EVF WB Adj.」を実行して,調整値を書き込む。
1-5.  Destination Data ファイルの追加について
Adjust manual に含まれる Destination Data ファイルが古い場合, 
「DESTINATION DATA WRITE」 が実行できないことがあります。
その場合は,下記の手順を参考にして, TISS ホームページより新しい Destination Data ファイル を入手してください。 
Note1:  この機種で仕向け設定を行うには,DSC-WX50シリーズの Adjust manual がインストールされている必要があります。
 
 
先に DSC-WX50 シリーズの Adjust manual をインストールしてください。
Note 2:  手順中の画像は実際と異なる場合があります。
1)  使用している Adjust manual の Destination Data ファイルが古い場合, Fig. 1 のようなウインドウが表示される。
 
[OK] ボタンをクリックする。

2)  Destination Data Write ウインドウが表示される。
 
Adjust manual の保持している Destination Data ファイル のバージョンを確認する。

3)  TISSホームページにて,新しい Destination Data ファイルを入手したい機種を検索する。 
 
Destination Data ファイルが更新されている場合,「Destination File For  機種名 .zip」 という名称のファイルが登録されている。 
 (例) Destination File For DSC-WX50.zip
 また,Remarks欄にはこの Destination Data ファイルが対応するバージョンが記載されています。
 Note: バージョンが更新されていなかった場合は,サービスヘッドクォーターへお問い合わせください。
4)  該当機種の Destination Data ファイルをダウンロードし,解凍する。 
 
5)  Adjust manual の Adjust タブにある,「DESTINATION DATA WRITE」 を実行する。
 
[START] ボタンをクリックする。

6)  ウインドウ内の [File Update] ボタンをクリックする。
 
 
7)  ファイルを選択する画面が出るので,追加する Destination Data ファイルを選択し, [開く] ボタンをクリックする。
 
 
8)  ファイルの追加が成功すると, 下記のような画面が出る。
 
 
9)  Destination Ver. ウインドウを確認し,バージョンが更新されていることを確認する。
