5-3. CAMERA SECTION ADJUSTMENTS
5-3-1.   Writing Lens data
Introduction:
-  Please handle lens with care.
-  Perform the operation additionally when replacing Main board or Lens.
-  Read and record the lens data on the QR Code Label or Lens data Label attached to the lens. (Fig. 5-3-1)
-  Record of numbers. (7 digit)

Preparations:
 
Put the folder “Wrirte_Lens Data” downloaded in “5-1-5. Setting the Adjustment Mode” (Page 5-3) on any place of the PC.
 
Confirm that includes the following items.
• Write_LensCode_v[][][].exe
• UI43Api.dll
 
The USB Driver is sane as “5-3-12. Set Language Destination”.
Procedure:
1)  Check that the camera is on the adjustment mode.
 
Connect the camera and the PC.
2)   Double click the “Write_LensCode_v[][][].exe” to start up the writing tool. (Fig. 5-3-2)

3)  Enter the recorded lens data in the “Data code” text field.
4)  Click the “Write” button.
5)  The message “Write Code To Camera OK !!” will be displayed.

5-3-2. Setting Default Gyro Value
Perform the this operation additionally when replacing Main board or Lens.
Preparations: 
 
Put the folder “Set_Default Gyro Value” downloaded in “5-1-5. Setting the Adjustment Mode” (Page 5-3) on any place of the PC.
 
Confirm that includes the following items.
• Set_DefaultGyro_v[][][].exe
• UI43Api.dll
 
The USB Driver is sane as “5-3-12. Set Language Destination”. 
Procedure:
1)  Check that the camera is on the adjustment mode.
 
Connect the camera and the PC. 
2)  Double click the “Set_DefaultGyro_v[][][].exe” to start up the writing tool. (Fig. 5-3-4)
3)  Click the “Set Default ” button.

4)  In case of the setting is finished normally, the setting completion indication appears on the screen. (Fig. 5-3-5)
 
The power of the camera turns off automatically.

5-3-4. OB Adjustment
The OB (Optically Black) Adjustment order is as follows.
Check that the camera is on the adjustment mode.
* For the setting procedure of the adjustment mode, refer to “5-1-5. Setting the Adjustment Mode” (Page 5-3).
Cover camera lens (All black). (Fig. 5-3-9)
Press the Control button “ b ” “ B ” and “ v ” “ V ” to change selected item. Choose “OB CLBT (BLACK)”, 
press the Control button “ z ”, select “OK”, and press the Control button “ z ” to start.
* If the adjustment is disabled, refer to “5-1-6. Enabling the Adjustment” to enable the adjustment. (Page 5-3)
In case of the adjustment is finished normally, 
the adjustment completion indication appears 
on the screen. (Fig. 5-3-10)
Press the “      (Playback)” button to return to 
adjustment menu.
Finished normally.
Finished abnormally.
In case of the indication other than that shown in 
Fig. 5-3-10 appears on the screen, confirm the 
adjusting environment and readjust.

5-3-3. Focus Adjustment
The Focus Adjustment order is as follows.
Note: 
When using the Flange back adjustment jig, take care of the following points:
•  For the illumination, use a light source such as an incandescent lamp or inverter type fluorescent light free from flickering.
•  Do not make an adjustment in the environment where fluorescent lamp flickering occurs even if the illuminance can be ensured with the room illumination only.
•  Use an incandescent lamp or inverter type fluorescent light at a place free from the influence of room illumination.
1)  Install the Flange back adjustment jig so that the distance between 
it and the front of lens of camera is 10 mm or less (Tele end).
Note:
Take care not to hit the Flange back adjustment jig when extending the lens.
2)  Make the height of Flange back adjustment jig and the camera equal.
3)  Check that the center of chart meets the center of shot image screen.
Illuminance = 1000 ± 200 lx

press the Control button “ z ”, select “OK”, and press the Control button “ z ” to start.
* If the adjustment is disabled, refer to “5-1-6. Enabling the Adjustment” to enable the adjustment. (Page 5-3)
In case of the adjustment is finished normally, 
the adjustment completion indication appears 
on the screen. (Fig. 5-3-7)
Press the “      (Playback)” button to return to 
adjustment menu.

The MeShut26 (Mechanical Shutter 26) Adjustment order is as follows.
Note:
Perform the MeShut26 Adjustment after those performed in 5-3-4 to 5-3-5.

the adjustment completion indication appears

Press the “      (Playback)” button to return to 
adjustment menu.
Press the Control button “ b ” “ B ” and “ v ” “ V ” to change selected item to “WB/AGC (LV10)”, 
and press the “       (Playback)” button. Press the Control button “ v ” “ V ” to change selected item 
to “Light Src”, and press the Control button “ b ” “ B ” to set the value as “00002”, and press the 
Control button “ z ”. (Fig. 5-3-12)
Place the camera in front of the Small pattern box (PTB-1450). (Fig. 5-3-11)
