Malfunction of Flash WB 
adjustment
The Flash WB Adjustment order is as follows.
Note:
Perform the Flash WB Adjustment after those performed in 5-3-4 to 5-3-5.
Confirm the indication
on the screen.
In case of the adjustment is finished abnormally,
the following indication appears on the screen. 
(Fig. 5-3-33) 
In this case, confirm the adjusting environment 
and readjust.

Press the Control button “ b ” “ B ” and “ v ” “ V ” to change selected item. Choose “FLASH WB”, 
press the Control button “ z ”, select “OK”, and press the Control button “ z ” to start.
* If the adjustment is disabled, refer to “5-1-6. Enabling the Adjustment” to enable the adjustment. (Page 5-3)
In case of the adjustment is finished normally, 
the adjustment completion indication appears 
on the screen. (Fig. 5-3-32)
Press the “      (Playback)” button to return to 
adjustment menu.
Check that the camera is on the adjustment mode.
* For the setting procedure of the adjustment mode, refer to “5-1-5. Setting the Adjustment Mode” (Page 5-3).
Place the camera in front of the Flash Adjustment Box. (Fig. 5-3-31)
Finished normally.

5-3-11.  AF Lamp Check
The AF Lamp check order is as follows.
Setting conditions
•  Project images on a dark wall surface.
•  Distance between wall surface and camera = approx. 1 m
•  The wall surface and the camera are face to face.
1)   Check that the camera is on the adjustment mode.
 Note:
For the setting procedure of the adjustment mode, refer to “5-1-5. Setting the 
Adjustment Mode” (Page 5-3).

2)   Place the camera in front of a dark wall surface face to face.
3)  Press the Control button “ b ” “ B ” and “ ▲ ” “ ▼ ” to change selected item. Choose “AFLAMP”,  press the Control button “ z ”, select “OK”, 
and press the Control button “ z ” to start.
 Note:
If the check is disabled, refer to “5-1-6. Enabling the Adjustment” to enable the check. (Page 5-3)
 
A guide frame is displayed on the LCD screen and the AF lamp lights.
 
Manipulate the camera so that the auxiliary light on the wall surface comes to the center of the guide frame.
5-3-12. Lens Option
Lens Option Setting order is as follows.
1)  Check that the camera is on the adjustment mode.
 Note:
 
For the setting procedure of the adjustment mode, refer to “5-1-5. Setting the Adjustment Mode” (Page 5-3).
2)  Press the Control button “ b ” “ B ” and “ v ” “ V ”to change selected item. Choose “Lens Option”, 
 
press the “ 
 (Playback)” button to choose item.
 
Note:
 
If the setting is disabled, refer to “5-1-6. Enabling the Adjustment” to enable the setting. (Page 5-3)
3)  Press the Control button “ V ” to “Enable LDC” item after press the Control button “ B ” to set enable (00001). 
Press the Control button “ V ” to “Enable LSC” item after press the Control button “ B ” to set enable (00001). 
Press the Control button “ V ” to “Enable OIS” item after press the Control button “ z ” to set enable (00002).
 
Final Press the “ 
 (Playback)” button to return to adjustment mode, then press the Control button “ z ”, 
 
select “OK” and press the Control button “ z ” to start.
 
Note:
 
LDC : Lens Distortion Correction
 
LSC : Lens Shading Correction
 
OIS  : Optical Image Stabilizer
4)  Confirm the indication on the screen.
When the setting is finished, the setting completion indication appears on the screen. (Fig. 5-3-37)
Press the “ 
 (Playback)” button to return to adjustment menu.

5-3-13. Set Language Destination
Note:
 
Finish all of the adjustment except for the Language Destination setting.
Once the Language Destination setting is finished, it cannot be reset. 
USB Driver and Service Tool
Put the two folders “USB Driver” and “Service Tool” downloaded in “5-1-5. Setting the Adjustment Mode” (Page 5-3) in any place of the PC.
The procedure of installing a USB Driver is as follows.
1)  Connect the camera started up with the Adjustment mode, and the PC with a Dedicated USB Cable.
2)  Install the USB Driver according to the guidance on the screen.

Starting up the Service Tool
Double click the “ServiceTool_Ver[][][].exe” in the “Service Tool” folder to start up the Service Tool. (Fig. 5-3-39)

Setting order
The Language Destination setting order is as follows.
Confirm the indication
on the screen.
Press the “Read” button, “PRODUCT CODE” and “SERIAL No.” will displayed on the screen.
Select the correspond language destination from the pull-down menu, input the “SERIAL No.”, then press the “Write” button.
*1 The “SERIAL No.” is written on the bottom of the camera.
*2 Once the Language Destination setting is finished, it cannot be reset.
The camera restarts and switches to the Mass
Storage connection automatically.
Disconnect the camera from the dedicated USB
cable and perform the initial setting.
In case of the setting is finished normally,
the setting completion indication appears on
the screen. (Fig. 5-3-40)
In case of the setting is finished abnormally,
the following message appears on the screen.

In this case, perform the setting again upon
the message.
Finished abnormally.
