1-4. PRECAUTION ON REPLACING THE LENS BLOCK ASSY
The slant of the CCD Block Assy is adjusted with the Lens L Washers, the Lens O Washers and the CCD Rubber 0.5mm in the Lens Block Assy.
After the Lens Block Assy is replaced, select and install the Lens L Washers, the Lens O Washers and the CCD Rubber 0.5mm according to the following.
Screws
CCD Block Assy
Lens Block Assy
Lens O Washers
Lens L Washers
CCD Rubber 0.5mm
Filter Mask
Washer height values A, B, and C are described on the QR Code Label attached to the Lens Block Assy. (A, B, and C show installation positions of
Lens O Washers.)
Combinations of these values are grouped into two types:
The type that uses CCD Rubber 0.5mm and the type that does not use CCD Rubber 0.5mm. Install washers according to the washer installation method
for each type.

(1)  Install the CCD Rubber 0.5mm and the Filter Mask.
(2)  The minimum value among values at three locations (A, B, and C) is 45.

Therefore, install the following Lens L Washers corresponding to a thickness of 0.45 mm.

Lens L Washer (0.2mm) x 2

Lens L Washer (0.05mm) x 1
(3)  The value at A is 60 and the difference from the value at C is 15, which corresponds to 0.15 mm.

Therefore, install the following Lens O Washer at location A.

Lens O Washer (0.1mm) x 1

Lens O Washer (0.05mm) x 1
(4)  The value at B is 65 and the difference from the value at C is 20, which corresponds to 0.2 mm.

Therefore, install the following Lens O Washer at location B.

2. REPAIR  PARTS  LIST
Follow the disassembly in the numerical order given.
IDENTIFYING  PARTS
(ENGLISH)
NOTE:
•  -XX, -X mean standardized parts, so they may have some differences from the original one.
•  Items marked “*” are not stocked since they are seldom required for routine service. Some
delay should be anticipated when ordering these items.
•  The mechanical parts with no reference number in the exploded views are not supplied.
•  Due to standardization, replacements in the parts list may be different from the parts speci-
fied in the diagrams or the components used on the set.
•  Color Indication of Appearance Parts
 Example:

(SILVER) : Cabinet’s Color

The components identified by mark
0 or
dotted line with mark
0 are critical for safety.
Replace only with part number specified.

Ne les remplacer que par une pièce portant
le numéro spécifié.
When indicating parts by reference
number, please include the board name.

NOTE  FOR  REPAIR
•  Make sure that the flat cable and flexible board are not cracked of
bent at the terminal.
Do not insert the cable insufficiently nor crookedly.
•  When remove a connector, do not pull at wire of connector. It is
possible that a wire is snapped.
•  When installing a connector, do not press down at wire of connector.
It is possible that a wire is snapped.
•  Do not apply excessive load to the gilded flexible board.
The charging capacitor is charged up to the maximum 310 V
potential.
There is a danger of electric shock by this high voltage
when the capacitor is handled by hand.  The electric shock
is caused by the charged voltage which is kept without dis-
charging when the main power of the unit is simply turned
off.  Therefore, the remaining voltage must be discharged as
described below.
Preparing the Short Jig
To preparing the short jig, a small clip is attached to each end
of a resistor of 1 k
Ω /1 W (1-215-869-11).
Wrap insulating tape fully around the leads of the resistor to
prevent electrical shock.
