ABOUT  THE  REPAIRING  OF  BOARD
When the board installed by this unit is defective, replace the com-
plete mounted board. The individual mounted electrical parts can-
not replace and repair.
Moreover, the SW board cannot replace with single. If replace the 
SW board, be sure to replace the MAIN board simultaneously.
The MAIN board can replace with single.
FORMATTING  MEMORY
You can initialize your Walkman by formatting the memory.
1. From the Home menu, select 
 [Settings].
2. Select [Common Settings] - [Reset/Format] - [Format System Storage] or [Format SD Card] - [Yes].
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to format the memory.
Note
Be sure not to initialize (format) the memory of your Walkman using a computer. If you have formatted it with a
computer, format it again using the Walkman.
Formatting the memory erases all content data (songs, etc., including the sample data installed at the factory,
and the supplied software installer). Be sure to check the data stored in the memory and export any important
data to your computer before formatting.
RESETTING  TO  THE  FACTORY  SETTINGS
Your Walkman can be reset to the default settings. Resetting the Walkman will not delete content such as music.
1. From the Home menu, select 
 [Settings].
2. Select [Common Settings] - [Reset/Format] - [Reset All Settings] - [Yes].
Note
If you reset your Walkman to the factory settings, the pairing information of the connected Bluetooth devices
will be deleted.
