SECTION  3
TEST  MODE
SETTING  THE  SERVICE  MODE
Setting method:
1.  Connect the AC plug.
2.  Touch the [u] and [v] sensors simultaneously within one 
second after “WELCOME” is displayed
3.  Enter the test mode, and display the main menu screen.
RELEASING  THE  TEST  MODE
Disconnect the AC plug.
OPERATION  OF  THE  SERVICE  MODE
0. KEY
The buttons and touch sensors are confi rmed.
Procedure:
1.  Enter the service mode, and touch the [u] sensor.
2.  The key test mode is begun. Press all buttons except [\/1] 
button, and touch all sensors.
3.  Then, the key test mode ends if the [\/1] button is pressed, 
and it returns to the main menu screen.
0-0. KEY_LOAD
The key driver is loaded.
Procedure:
1.  Enter the service mode.
2.  Touch the [>] sensor to select “0:KEY_LOAD”.
3.  Touch the [u] sensor, the key driver is loaded.
4.  Touch the [.] sensor, return to the main menu screen.
0-1. KEY_Unld
The key driver is unloaded.
Procedure:
1.  Enter the service mode.
2.  Touch the [>] sensor, and touch the [m] sensor to select 
“1:KEY_Unld”.
3.  Touch the [u] sensor, the key driver is unloaded.
4.  Disconnect the AC plug because the all key operation becomes 
impossible.
1. Version
The software version is displayed.
Procedure:
1.  Enter the service mode, and touch the [m] sensor to select 
“1:Version”.
2.  Touch the [u] sensor, the software version is displayed. 
When the region is set, it is displayed at the right side of the 
third line.
3.  Press the [PARTY] button, return to the main menu screen.
2. LCD
The liquid crystal display is confi rmed.
Procedure:
1.  Enter the service mode, and touch the [m] sensor to select 
“2:LCD”.
2.  Touch the [u] sensor, all segments in the liquid crystal dis-
play are lighted up. Then, the brightness of backlight keeps 
changing into three stages.
3.  Press the [PARTY] button, return to the main menu screen.
2-0. LCD_Bright
The brightness of backlight is changed.
Procedure:
1.  Enter the service mode, and touch the [m] sensor to select 
“2:LCD”.
2.  Touch the [>] sensor to select “0:LCD_Bright”.
3.  Touch the [u] sensor.
4.  The brightness of backlight changes into three stages when-
ever the [m]/[M] sensors are touched.
5.  Press the [PARTY] button, and touch the [.] sensor, return 
to the main menu screen.
2-1. LCD_Pattern
The display pattern is changed.
Procedure:
1.  Enter the service mode, and touch the [m] sensor to select 
“2:LCD”.
2.  Touch the [>] sensor, and touch the [m] sensor to select 
“1:LCD_Pattern”.
3.  Touch the [u] sensor.
4.  The display pattern is changed whenever the [m]/[M] sensors 
are touched.
5.  The icon segment lights one by one whenever the [m]/[M] sen-
sors are touched.
6.  Press the [PARTY] button, and touch the [.] sensor, return 
to the main menu screen.
2-2. LCD_Font
The font is edited.
Procedure:
1.  Enter the service mode, and touch the [m] sensor to select 
“2:LCD”.
2.  Touch the [>] sensor, and touch the [m] sensor to select 
“2:LCD_Font”.
3.  Touch the [u] sensor.
4.  In this state, the font can be edited.
5.  Press the [PARTY] button, and touch the [.] sensor, return 
to the main menu screen.
3. Micon
The micon software version is displayed.
Procedure:
1.  Enter the service mode, and touch the [m] sensor to select 
“3:Micon”.
2.  Touch the [u] sensor, the micon software version is dis-
played.
3.  Press the [PARTY] button, return to the main menu screen.
3-0. Micon_Load
The micon driver is loaded.
Procedure:
1.  Enter the service mode, and touch the [m] sensor to select 
“3:Micon”.
2.  Touch the [>] sensor, and touch the [m] sensor to select 
“0:Micon_Load”.
3.  Touch the [u] sensor.
4.  The micon driver is loaded.
5.  Touch the [.] sensor, return to the main menu screen.
