Reading the Display:
Convert the hexadecimal display into binary display. If more than two causes, they will be added.
Convert the hexadecimal display into binary display. If more than two causes, they will be added.
Example When 84 is displayed:
Higher bit : 8 = 1000 t b7
Lower bit : 4 = 0100 t b2
In this case, as b2 and b7 are 1 and others are 0, it can be determined that the retry cause is combined of “Emphasis OFF”, “Monaural”,
“Original”, “Copyright”, and “Write allowed”.
Lower bit : 4 = 0100 t b2
In this case, as b2 and b7 are 1 and others are 0, it can be determined that the retry cause is combined of “Emphasis OFF”, “Monaural”,
“Original”, “Copyright”, and “Write allowed”.
Example When 07 is displayed:
Higher bit : 0 = 0000 t All 0
Lower bit : 7 = 0111 t b0 + b1 + b2
In this case, as b0, b1, and b2 are 1 and others are 0, it can be determined that the retry cause is combined of “Emphasis ON”, “Stereo”,
“Original”, “Copyright”, and “Write prohibited”.
