4.  OPERATION  OF  THE  TEST  MODE
4-1. VERSION
Model name, destination, fi rmware version, IPL2 version, CPU 
version, initial language, charge function, card function, radio 
function, eMMC maker code and eMMC capacity can be con-
fi rmed.
Procedure:
1.  Enter the test mode.
2. Press the [
>
] or [
.
] keys to select the “VERSION”, and 
press the [
N
/ENTER] key.
3. Model name, destination, fi rmware version, IPL2 version and 
CPU version are displayed on page 1/2 of LCD display. Press 
the [
>
] or [
.
] keys, initial language, charge function, 
card function, radio function, eMMC maker code and eMMC 
capacity are displayed on page 2/2 of LCD display.

4-2. KEY CHECK
Operation of keys and switches can be checked, and this unit can 
return to the factory shipment settings.
Note 1: It cannot move to other modes from this mode.
Procedure:
1.  Enter the test mode.
2. Press the [

] or [

] keys to select the “KEY CHECK”, 
and press the [
N
/ENTER] key.
3.  Whenever any keys of this unit are pressed or any switches of 
this unit are slid, the button count decreases.

4.  After all the keys and switches are decided, initialization is 
performed.
5.  “Success” is displayed, and this unit reboots. 
Note 2: This unit is not initialized when “Failure” is displayed.

Remove battery.

4-3. AUDIO LOOP
Audio loop back operation can be performed.
Procedure:
1.  Enter the test mode.
2.  Press the [

] or [

] keys to select the “AUDIO LOOP”, 
and press the [
N
/ENTER] key.
3.  Audio loop back operation is performed.

Note: When mode is active, the recording level for VOR is acquired at in-
tervals of 1 second, and it is displayed. When the acquired recording 
level is larger than the VOR setting value, the operation indicator 
LED redly lights up.

4-8. RTC TEST
The self-test of RTC module can be done.
Procedure:
1.  Enter the test mode.

3.  The self-test of RTC module is executed, and result is dis-
played.

4-9. BATT A/D
A/D value (voltage value and temperature value) acquisition can 
be performed.
Procedure:
1.  Enter the test mode.

3.  A/D value (voltage value and temperature value) are acquired, 
and they are displayed.

The battery load check can be operated compulsorily.
Procedure:
1.  Enter the test mode.

3.  ON/OFF of ZLOAD is changed.

3.  The state of LOW DET is displayed.

The count value of the keys and switches operation can be dis-
played. However, distinction of kind of the keys and switches 
which operated is not performed.
Note: It cannot move to other modes from this mode.
Procedure:
1.  Enter the test mode.
2.  Press the [

] keys to select the “KEY COUNT”, 
and press the [
N
/ENTER] key.
3.  The count value of the keys and switches operation is dis-
played.
