SECTION  3
TEST  MODE
1.  SETTING  THE  TEST  MODE
Note: Test mode is impossible when battery voltage is not enough.
 
  Do work using the battery with suffi cient battery level.
Setting method :
1.  Equip this unit with battery.
2.  Slide the [HOLD•POWER ON/OFF] switch in the direction of 
“POWER” until the window display appears.
3.  While pressing the [STOP/
x
] and [VOL 
−] keys, slide the 
[DPC (SPEED CTRL)] switch in the direction of “ON” or 
“OFF” (Either “ON” or “OFF” is OK).

4.  While pressing the [STOP/

] and [VOL 
−] keys, slide the 
[DPC (SPEED CTRL)] switch in the direction opposite to that 
specifi ed in step 3.
5.  While pressing the [STOP/

[DPC (SPEED CTRL)] switch in the direction opposite to that 
specifi ed in step 4.
6.  The test mode menu (“SERVICE MENU”) is displayed, and 
enter the test mode. Release the [STOP/
x
] and [VOL 
−] keys.

4.  OPERATION  OF  THE  TEST  MODE
4-1. LCD PATTERN
The lighting check of LCD can be performed.
Procedure:
1.  Enter the test mode.
 
(Refer to “SETTING THE TEST MODE” on page 12)
2. Press

] keys to select the “LCD PATTERN”, 
and press the [

] key.
3.  LCD display pattern is displayed as shown in the following 
fi gure.

Model name, initial language, fi rmware version, IPL2 version, 
CPU version, eMMC maker code, eMMC capacity, destination, 
board ID (board discrimination number) and unique ID can be 
confi rmed.
Procedure:
1.  Enter the test mode.
 
(Refer to “SETTING THE TEST MODE” on page 12)
2. Press 
the

] keys to select the “VERSION”, and 
press the [

] key.
3.  Model name, initial language, fi rmware version, IPL2 version 
and CPU version are displayed on page 1/2 of LCD display.
